You have to get the nachos! We got the tuna nachos and the shrimp tempura bowl and it was the best food we’ve had in Hawaii! We’re going back one more time before we fly out today!

We're so glad we came across this place. We were on our way to the airport and wanted to get one last poke. Found Aloha Cones on Google Maps and decided to give it a try. The best poke we've tried so far in Oahu. The family running this place was super friendly.

Got some parking stalls in the back off Houghtailing and an entrance also from that parking lot. Came in at about noon, no wait and menu on the counter. I got the sesame ahi poke bowl and my friend got the hamachi bowl. We ate at the counter. I remember them from Pearlridge! Delicious poke bowls and sashimi!

The mini poke box is perfect for a quick lunch. Fresh ahi, subtle flavours combined with the zip of crunchy onion slices (we loved the sesame ahi poke & the limu poke), and friendly, calm service at this little take-out only (as of late March 2022) restaurant. We got half lettuce salad & half rice for our poke boxes. The only drawback, for me, was that the sauce flavours on the poke were a tad sweet, although the sauces were balanced overall in taste. Stll, delicious poke indeed.

I love sushi and poke. When I saw that Aloha Cones make sushi cakes, I was so excited to try it! I messaged the chef and he was great in working with me to get exactly what I wanted. He offers many options and we went with the 6 inch since it was just for my husband and me. They’re absolutely beautiful cakes with sashimi roses, edible flowers, ikura in the middle and layers of crab and spicy tuna sushi layers. You get wasabi, pickled ginger, sweet sauce and even crunchy toppings to enjoy with it. It was very delicious. At pickup, his staff was super nice and sweet. I highly recommend them if you’re a sushi lover like me or wanting something different to celebrate a special occasion.

My favorite part about this spot is how nice the people that helped me were. I ordered a half spicy, half regular poke. (So sorry but i don’t remember the name of it) The fish was fresh & the toppings were tasty. Great experience! Would definitely recommend to anyone craving some yummy poke.

I loved Aloha Cones from its days back on Kinau and glad to see them continuing their quality grinds in their new location. This review would be amiss if I didn't mention their show stopping sushi cakes, though. When I saw them on a friend's IG I immediately ordered two for two birthdays I had coming up, three days apart. I knew I wouldn't mind eating their quality grinds only a few days apart. Mike was easy to work with and sushi cakes ranged from $80-110 depending on the toppings. All were 10" wide, about 5" tall (not including sashimi flowers) and FILLED with spicy tuna and crab avocado. VERY reasonable pricing for all the work and fish that goes into these and one of the cheapest I've seen from other places doing similar things. I highly recommend you give them a call and get one for your next special occasion!!👍👍
