I stopped at Chronic Tacos in Honolulu for lunch. The best part of this review is to acknowledge the kindness and great attitudes of the two people working behind the counter. They made you feel appreciated and welcome. The food was just okay and with so many options I would likely choose another spot to grab some tacos. I had the pastor street tacos and chips and salsa. The chips were not very fresh. The tacos were good. The do have cold beer so that is plus.

An improved Chronic Tacos! Good Mexican food. Service is friendly and fast with the new management. I see a lot of significant changes. Highly recommend the Shrimp Taco (my favorite), Chicken Taco, and Chronic Fries, yummy!!! They are very delicious. It was my third time there, and I had to write a review. If you are a seafood lover, you definitely have to try the Shrimp Taco, it is made so fresh with the right amount of seasoning, and it all goes so well with a Flour Tortilla. It is the best I have ever had. The Chronic Fries is a must-try too. If you like your meals spicy hot, you must try their great hot sauce choices. Order your meal, sit back, relax and enjoy your lunch, dinner or break while admiring the beautiful Mexican mural on the wall.
I am looking forward to eating there again.

Make your own taco or burritos, i love this ide and wish it was closer to home. Place was clean and well stocked. The mini churros are delightful. The salsa and chips tasted homemade to me. Stop by if your in the area.

These tacos were delishious! The meat was perfectly seasoned, and the topping selection was plentiful. On top of that - the young man and woman working on 1/27 were the most nicest people. The artwork in the restaurant was truly impressive. I'll definitely visit again on my next trip to Honolulu!!!

Price is a bit high for what you get. You barely get any chips and guacamole for what you pay. They do cook the shrimp/mahi fresh though

I got the vegetarian burrito with chips and a drink. Staff was utterly charming. Amazing burrito with ghost pepper sauce. Chips and salsa were fine. Filled me up. I'll definitely be back to try those potato tacos!
Second time, I tried the Veggie tacos. This time, they had their sauces on the tables, and they're good. Every day, it seems they have some special, and Wednesday was free churros when I was there. Good place if you're in the mood and in the area.

I tried the small burrito, churro bites and tots. Next time I think I would get the regular size burrito. I picked the black bean, yellow rice and some other veggie stuff. It was very good. I ordered with Uber eats and everything worked well (the tots and churros were still warm).

Highly recommend the Cali burrito and the carne asada fries. They also have this whipped orange soda that goes great with the food.

We got a fajita veggie bowl and a beyond beef tostada bowl, the location is VERY busy, with take out and delivery orders, and they seem a bit short staffed when we went in. All the ingredients looked fresh and prep surfaces were clean. The beyond beef (vegetarian) was cooked to order which takes a bit of time, I was expecting some kind of seasoning on it but it was just plain, cooked in oil, fine when mixed with everything but a bit boring on its own. The house red salsa is very smoky which I like, but not for everyone.
The people running the place were very nice and accommodating especially given how busy they were and having to keep switching between food prep, orders and the register!

Too expensive for dry and bland food. I accidentally didn't ask them to put sour cream on my burrito. I paid, with a tip, and when I went back to the counter after realizing I didn't add cream, the cashier said it would be 50 cents to put a little in a cup on the side. Ridiculous.

Never ate there on the mainland, since there was real Mexican food.. this is another version of chipotle, Americanized Mexican food.. had I of not asked for more meat they would’ve just given me a rice burrito 😂.. I won’t be back but enjoy Oahu we are limited.. I rather have Ono Loco Tacos In Salt Lake..
