Sushi is decent, good to grab a quick bite before doing or after weekend errands.. Wait is up to 25 mins, so its better to call in your order. There is no sit down service, so you have to stand around and wait. 📞

The customer service is excellent, food is delicious, and if you're in the neighborhood it's worth it to wait and dine in if you can. Though seating is limited it is excelent for dining alone or in a small group.

Hand rolls are freash and taste great here. Ramen is good for the price you'd pay but sushi is much better. Green tea (hot) is one of those things that is best not to order - variety of other drinks (canned, fountain, bottled) are better.

Great lunch deals at the Makiki Sushi Man. I love sushi and I have to say the Makiki Sushi Man is on point. For the price you get some good sushi. They have $6.00 lunch bentos and a wide selection of good sushi. Even their spam musubis are good. A lot of free parking in the back and they serve Pepsi!...lol.

The server that was there was super nice, I didnt catch her name, I also didnt get a receipt which usually has the servers name or ID but that's okay. We had no idea they closed at 8 we ended up placing our order at 7 55 and they let us order and didnt say anything we realized they closed in 5 mins but they told us not to worry about it with smiles. With that great service I would give 5 stars, however, the food made us sick immediately after. We do eat sushi a lot, and this sushi seemed really fresh, but idk what happened there.

Very small place. Has a total of 16 chairs. Very casual (order at counter style).
Sushi is fresh and delicious. Portions are large. Very inexpensive (a family platter has 42 pieces of nigiri for $38). We loved Everything we ordered!

Was very good sushi. The best part was the size of the rolls. By far the biggest portions I've ever had anywhere and all the rolls were slightly less expensive that the average prices you typically see. Bottom line great value and portions.
