The food was good, and served quickly. They have lunch and combo specials. I enjoyed the beef stamina rice bowl! It included miso soup. The service was okay. The atmosphere is quiet and enjoyable. I recommend this place!

Ordered the beef sukiyaki lunch and was surprised (pleasantly) at the portion size and presentation. Excellent flavor and value! Server was friendly and kept our waters topped up. Was a bit surprised they added a 15% gratuity for a party of two but didn't mind.

The Teppan Kingyo is situated in the Japanese food hall adjacent to Kalakaua Ave, Waikiki. I had the Sirloin Steak & Noodles which I asked to be prepared, medium rare. The meat was presented excellently and cooked to perfection. The steak was 5 star quality, I would highly recomend. The staff service also commendable with minimum delays and friendly service. The price doesn't do justice for the quality of service received.

Their specialty here is okonomiyaki. There are different styles of it depending on the region in Japan, but the classic type is a very doughy pancake shaped dish with vegetables mixed into it and a sauce on top. My wife and I shared one and a salad, and it was more than enough for us, as the okonomiyaki was pretty good but ws kind of heavy. The service wasn't bad, but they just were not engaged, and this was for the entire restaurant, not just our table.

Hamburg steak and all type of steaks such as pork steak, sirloin and etc. A bit pricey for the size. All steak come with free refill rice, miso soup and salad. The place always busy usually there is a wait no more than 5 minutes. The pork steak come with sweet and spicy sauce. Hamburg steak you can choose 5 sauces and it's on the side. The food comes around 20 minutes.

This restaurant is located in a Japanese food court in the center of Honolulu. The food was fresh and delicious, specifically I got the okonomiyaki and the loco moco. Unfortunately I did not take a picture of the Okonomiyaki but is was amazing!! I recommend asking them to go easy on the sauce so it doesn’t overwhelm the taste. Highly recommended. I think service could’ve been perhaps a bit friendlier.

Food is quick, but good. Not the cheapest place under the mall, but then again, I think it's the only one that is not a ramen shop. I had the steak & noodles, and a side of Takoyaki. Server was Justin, he did a great job.
