Just discovered this little Jewel of a a Mexican Eatery!...What outstanding Comida Mexicana comes from Oscar and his small wagon!...Another great reason 'We Lucky to Live in Hawaii', especially if you live on or near Atkinson drive!!!

LET ME TELL YOU. I’m from San Diego and have had some of the best Mexican food offered on the mainland. I moved out here and can NOT find good Mexican food like I’m used to. BUT MY MAN OSCAR (who runs the stand) cooked up some FIRE tacos and a DELICIOUS Birria Quesadilla. Super nice guy and he can cook? You’ll see me here every Tuesday without a doubt.

The BEST Tacos I’ve tasted in my entire life. And I’ve eaten tacos all across the continent. The meat was juicy, the tacos were loaded with everything (guacamole at NO extra cost). The hand made spicy salsa was also fantastic. I’m surprised so much can come from such a tiny food truck. Please support this beautiful taqueria. I hope this dude makes a ton of money.

I cannot recommend this place enough! Locals and tourists alike should definitely come and give this place a try. You can’t go wrong whether you get the tacos, burritos, or quesadillas. My personal favourite is the birria quesadilla, and I can’t get enough of the homemade salsa! Note: cash only (ATM in the convenience store and Ala Moana Hotel) and he’s only there a few nights a week (currently Tuesday, Friday and Saturday).

Got the carnitas taco plate. Food was excellent. I would have been happy getting this food in California or Colorado. To get it in Hawaii is pretty amazing. Carnitas were moist and crispy, just as they should be. There was a couple fresh salsas, numerous hot sauces, cilantro, limes, etc. to customize things. No place to sit as this is set up in a parking lot, but this is close to home. Just wish he had shrimp as an option.

I didn’t have the best experience the first time eating here but I came back to give it another try and he was super nicer to me and spoke to me in a better tone. Food is excellent. There’s a table to sit at. You can find him in the corner of the parking lot in front of liquor store with the rainbow disco lights shining on the wall behind him. Across the street is the Ala Moana mall. Cash only.

A cute little food truck on the side of a parking lot with a lot of character. The flavor are rich, intense and authentic. Got the tacos and a quesadilla. It comes with as much of his homemade salsa as you want. The price is extremely reasonable too.

Solid Mexican food from a small one-man cart. Tasty tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. Delicious sauces. Best of all, there's no rice in the burritos! The only thing that would be better is if he was open more days per week!

The gentleman is super nice, the food was exceptional! We were really looking for fish tacos, but when we saw the steak tacos he had prepared for another customer, my wife changed her mind from fish to steak. The previous reviews about him touching the money and then the food, is not what we saw, he used utensils and changed his gloves. We saw an individual trying and doing his best to give us quality food at a very fair price that taste out of this world. You have to try it. And be your own judge.

As a Mexican, I can say that these birria tacos were GOOD. The consommé was spicy though! They give you 6 small tortillas and plenty of carnita on top. You can sprinkle in your cilantro, chile, y cebolla on top. It was $12 on a Tuesday. Mad respect to the guy in the super small taco truck. The only reason I gave it 3 stars for atmosphere was because it was located in a sketchy corner area near a liquor store but most people were grabbing snacks and drinks from there so it wasnt that bad. The food is great though, highly recommend.

Quality authentic Mexican food. Home made guacamole and salsas. Smoked Chipotle salsa in a mortar and pestle server is out of this world. No better Birria tacos 🌮 anywhere!
