Wow, great experience. Wantd to try the loco from the original place and here it was. Looks like nothing has changed. Rundown shack, friendly service, quick preparation, great tasting, and HUGE portion. Meat on top of a bed of rice covered in eggs and smothered in gravy.....what is not to like. G
Ordered the classic Chicken Katsu with mac salad and rice. Simple but very good. These portions were huge though, we easily could have split the small size. I ordered the large size and it was enough for me to make three meals out of it.
Quality portions, pricing, and atmosphere. Had to stop by the original spot to pay homage to where it all started. Thoroughly enjoyed the loco moco and pork bowl.
This is the benchmark of all L&L restaurants. The OG, the one that sets the bar so low for all others. It is dirty, it has a terrible atmosphere, service was really bad... This place was perfect in every way. If you are a fan of L&L, you must visit here.

The original location for L&L does not disappoint. Although price and portion sizes are in line with other locations, this one seems to have the best food quality out of all of the L&L's I've been to. Excellent place to stop for local food.
In Liliha, One of the best L&L's I've been too. Great cooks and they are quick. Tasty and generous portions, even on the mini's. Limited parking would be the only downside.
This place is great! Fast service. Big food portions and the food has the right amount of deliciousness to satisfy your appetite. Check this place out, it may not look much of a fast food restaurant but the food is incredible. They have pretty much same food items as the other L&L restaurant.
Been here since I was young and this place is close to home and my heart. Awesome local plates with decent prices. I hope this restaurant will last till my kids are old too! 1 Reg Chicken Katsu plate is big enough to share for me and my 2 little ones, i just always ask for an extra katsu sauce.
Old school L&L Hawaiian BBQ restaurant with walk up outdoor window and seating fow just a few people. Parking for 6-7 cars and easy to get in and out. I ordered the chicken katsu and kalua pork bowl. The chicken katsu was served in very generous portions and was full of flavor, it was served with rice and macaroni salad which were both very well made. The kalua pork bowl was delicious with the pork being placed over a bed of rice which I mixed up
