Ordered the classic Chicken Katsu with mac salad and rice. Simple but very good. These portions were huge though, we easily could have split the small size. I ordered the large size and it was enough for me to make three meals out of it.

Quality portions, pricing, and atmosphere. Had to stop by the original spot to pay homage to where it all started. Thoroughly enjoyed the loco moco and pork bowl.

Wow, great experience. Wantd to try the loco from the original place and here it was. Looks like nothing has changed. Rundown shack, friendly service, quick preparation, great tasting, and HUGE portion. Meat on top of a bed of rice covered in eggs and smothered in gravy.....what is not to like. Great lunch and all for less than $15.
Nothing to complain. Given four stars because this is my first visit. Good was good but want to try other dishes (like chicken katsu) before giving the fifth star.

This is the benchmark of all L&L restaurants. The OG, the one that sets the bar so low for all others. It is dirty, it has a terrible atmosphere, service was really bad... This place was perfect in every way. If you are a fan of L&L, you must visit here.
If you have never eaten at an L&L before, do not come here. This is not going to be a good experience if you are not ready for the low standards that L&L is famous for.
There is seating here, but you will most likely not be able to eat at a table. There is parking on site, but if you are lucky enough to find a spot, you are going to have to get in and out very fast because someone else will be angry if you take a spot for too long. There is a menu, but you'll be impressed if you can read it through the filthy "glass" separating the counter from the menu.
As I said, this place is perfect in every L&L way and it is a must visit if you are on island. Be ready for quite the experience and lower all expectations before embarking on your mission to the very first L&L ever.

The original location for L&L does not disappoint. Although price and portion sizes are in line with other locations, this one seems to have the best food quality out of all of the L&L's I've been to. Excellent place to stop for local food.
