The premium pull beef tacos set was very nice. All the salsa was brilliant, especially the Habanero. Will definitely come back for more. Thank you.

Taste & size for price was great, but sad to see styrofoam still in use here instead of paper/biodegradable cardboard containers & staff should not be automatically filling food into single use bags & give cutlery without asking - most customers put bags straight in the trash after sitting in the food court & take more cutlery than needed. Plus side, easy to cater to vegan choices without meat & cheese. Would be great to see reusable tray, plate & cups in use at this & all places in the food court.

It's been ages since I've been to the Ala Moana Shopping Center's Food Court! Took my visiting cousin and his wife - both here on holiday from Australia. The build-your-own burrito bowl was soooo filling! Soi, I only took a picture of the receipt!

This has to be the best Mexican food on the island. It was really decent and all the flavor was there. Might not be East LA standards but really close given the ingredients they have to work with. Would get this again in a heartbeat.

Maybe it’s been a while since I’ve had good Mexican but I thought their street tacos were really good. I chose 3 different meats for each, and while my favorite was the Barbacoa, they were all good. Quite a selection of toppings, too. My son got the chimichanga and he thought it was great. Nice to know we have a fast casual option for Mexican in town.

I got the Birria Tacos with rice and beans, it was phenomenal. Best birria tacos I've had on the island plus the rice and beans actually tasted great. I'm coming back for seconds.

In hawaii great Mexican food is really hard to find. But for a place that's in the food court at the mall I must say it's good all details down from good salsa to good Verde sauce. I love California burritos and they have one that is so ono and large. You will be wanted to take a nap after your done. Take a moment to give it a try and let me know how you like it. But please don't compare to San Diego Cali burrito... thats just not fair.

Tried their food while visiting Oahu. Decided to go with build your own bowl & burrito which was pretty good. Fiancé got the birria meat for his bowl & I got the pork for my burrito. Good flavoring. That night I realized there was a coupon at the bottom of my receipt that was "Buy 1 hard taco plate, get 1 free." We ended up at Ala Moana Mall again the next day and just decided to take advantage of the deal since we enjoyed our food prior. Let me tell you it was completely night & day. Taco plates came with 2 hard shell tacos, beans of your choice & rice. Those plates were so bland. No flavoring. It was wayyyy opposite of what we had experienced the day before. Definitely wouldn't get the taco plates again. Better off getting the build your own.

The Truth

For hawaii... this is ok mexican food. A little bit on the pricey side but mexican food is always more expensive compared to the mainland. Value and taste are what you could expect fron the food court in ala moana. The soft tacos are good and the nachos are good too, also the tamales are pretty good. This is the only mexican place in the food court and is ok if your craving some mexican food. Check this place out.

The quesabirrias was good But the horchata tasted expired or from a can but taste of a rag. Don’t recommend the drinks. The service was okay.
