Our teenage son and daughter signed up for the surfing lessons and had a good time. The staff was very helpful accommodating our busy schedule and our experiences was great.

Did the outrigger canoe ride with the family. Great fun. Cody and JP were the crew leads. Once the boat caught a wave, it was an exhilarating and wet ride in. I think people of nearly any physical ability can do it. We got in 4 rides in under 30 minutes.

Great place to get morning coffee!
Staying at the Embassy Suites and Big Wave Dave is allocated right next to the Hula tower elevators.
I got the medium white mocha. It tastes great. But be aware the “medium” size isn’t the same size that I’m used to but…the coffee taste makes up for it.
I would recommend coming here!

This was so fun! Just so you know, this is the Outrigger experience. Thank you John Paul and Corey! Loved catching the waves! Sorry we missed your email inviting us back. Would do this over and over. If this is on your bucket list or not, book with them. You won't be sorry! I wish I had a Go Pro. I was too nervous with my phone. Still the experience was unforgettable.

I miss this place already! I went here each day of my trip for my coffee and breakfast. This is the best coffee I have ever tried and I have worked at different coffee shops for nearly four years now. I did not experience the surf part of the store since I don't know how to surf, or swim, but the coffee was by far the best and I looked forward to it each morning! I discovered this cafe while walking on our first day and each day I tried a different thing on the menu. Each thing was super delicious! I am a coffee girl so I need my fix every day and my experience here was great!

I had a great lesson with Nate and he was able to teach some helpful tips to be successful. Troy was also really nice and helpful and the manager was able to accommodate for the timing of the lesson. The coffee and tea also were really good.

My husband and I had a great morning out with Alika. He was patient, informative, and easy to follow. We had some good conversation with him about the island and Hawaiian history as well. Best of all, my husband was able to get up on that board and ride some waves!

Our family of 8 did 2 sessions of outrigger canoe surfing with the Big Wave Dave team. Everyone had an excellent time with this exhilarating activity. The two staff members we went with were a lot of fun and were very clear on their instructions on how to catch the most waves!

Great little place tucked away at the bottom of Embassy Suites. Had a surf lesson with Josh (total legend!🤙) with coffee and Avocado toast. Amazing coffee, super friendly service and great atmosphere. Will definitely be back!
