Agu Ramen Bistro - Honolulu - Photo album

We got their chicken karage set which came with white rice. Everything was freshly made; however, the chicken was a little oily. However, it was served piping hot which made the eating experience even better. All in all, it was a good small meal for us.
I am a big fan of Japanese ramen. The signature pork belly ramen tasted fine but below my expectation. The broth looked thick floating with meat fat but tasted a little bland, so the spicy one might taste more flavorful. Anyway, the pork bellies and egg tasted juicy and delicious.
Yes it is in a food court, but better than a lot of stand alone ramen shops. I ordered the #2 bario egg ramen in black garlic shoyu tonkotsu broth with extra noodles (20.98). I had to settle for that because I was overwhelmed with the variety of choices on display. They really need to streamline th
Not like any food court I have frequented. Let's start with the 1st word that comes to mind... YUM!! Chose the buikd your own option, but sooooo many choices available. This is a MUST try!!!! Delish! I highly recommend this food court all the way around.
Bario means big and strong, and in terms of ramen it means a type of ramen that's for the manly man. They certainly play that up with the spicy options... There is even option that's so spicy that you need to sign a waiver for. I got 3 stars spicy tsukemen, and it wasn't spicy so I don't think the n
Ramen Bario has the best Ramen soup on the island! Flavourful, garlicky and delicious. The best food court soup! I got just noodles and soup this time. They are thick and soft, but not too soft. The best.
Ordered the spicy noodles with egg, medium heat and it was delicious. Have traveled a lot in Asian countries and this was authentic and yummy. Would go back if I’m ever at this mall
Tasty ramen, very lucious, creamy, garlicky broth with very soft char siu pork slice. Got the option with egg and it's tasty, soft boiled egg. Service is helpful and fast. You order at counter and pick up at otherwise of the counter. There is a discount for Hawaii residents so show your ID. Thin noo
Didn't have much expectations for this food court ramen place, but was pleasantly surprised with the decent level of spice as well as taste. Price was fair for portion and quality (although a but pricey considering Ala Moana Center).
The tongotsu ramen and dumplings were amazing. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The it's took a little while but we also ordered a bit of food and it was rush hour. All in all would definitely go back.
Highly recommended if you are the big fan of Japanese ramen. Much better than any other ramen shops in Korea, despite slightly high-priced menus
I am not a ramen expert, and I’m not really a critic on food. But let me tell you, HOLY. COW. This is my go to at the Ala Moana food court. The broth is very flavorful and thick, the pork, oh my god, the pork is so high quality and flavorful. The noodles are rich and tasty, and put that together wit
Kilauea level Bario Spicy Ramen. Hot enough they make you sign a waiver lol. It wasn't the spiciest ramen I've had, but it was definitely one of the more flavorful despite all the spice (sometimes the heat or chili oil overpowers everything else). That's not to say it wasn't very spicy. Bario noodle
For those with egg allergies, the staff assured me that the ramen noodles here are not made with egg. They also give you a buzzer to alert you when your order is ready, very convenient.
I had the tantanmen here - it was great! Thick cut noodles and nice broth. There was an element of vinegar to the flavour - but that might be the way tantan is made. It did take a LOONG time though. Like 15min? Which was surprising. They also had this MASSIVE cup size for soda, so I got the smaller
Best ramen I’ve had outside of Japan so far (and I’ve had so many, I love ramen!). The egg tonkotsu ramen (#2) was hot and delicious. The egg tsukemen ramen (#22) was also very good. The dipping noddles were great. I probably would have preferred a bit less garlic, but it was delicious nonetheless.
Not a regular deli ramen shop. Rich ingredients, top level noodles, friendly staff.
