My boyfriend and I came for dinner a few nights back and loved it! The service was amazing and the food was delicious. We ordered the combo for 2 and it came with a really good portion where we ldft super full. The quality of the meat and the soybean soup were spectacular as well. It was better quality meat than at Gyu-Kaku down the road. Highly recommend!

Really, really enjoyed our dinner. My daughter and I split the Dolgot Bulgogi and it was VERY flavorful. My wife had the Spicy Soup with Beef and Rice. She would have liked it a little more spicy. My son had the Sirloin, and it came on a steaming hot plate, like fajitas. All the portions were very large. We spent nearly $25 per person, but it was worth it. Oh, and we had rice and plenty of Korean veggies.

Delicious authentic Korean food! reasonable price compared to other restaurant near and much better tasting food. Good quality. Relaxed atmosphere and genuine friendly staff. We ordered spicy tofu soup and the soups came out real quick which was much appreciated and was amazingly delicious. It was a great dinner experience for us! I will tell my friends in Portland to eat here when they visit Hawaii.😃

Excellent service. We discovered this place by seeing their sign while walking on Kalakaua Avenue. Had to go thru an alley. We were hungry and didn't know exactly what to order. The ribs were great, and so was the tofu soup. I thought it was a little pricey, but everything is pricey in Hawaii

Authentic Korean restaurant. We ordered the Hot stone Bibimbap with raw beef, when it came out it was sizzling and the waiter mixed it for me because it was too hot. The kimchi fried rice is our favorite. My son loves the beef tenderloin with asparagus and bell peppers. The ramen was yummy. Everything was freshly made. We did enjoy our dinner. The waiters were very attentive tive and polite. They are located on a side street that you can barely notice. Im just thankful we found this little gem.

With mismatched elements to the area it’s in, this spot is easy to miss. But you shouldn’t. It doesn’t have the most glamorous storefront, but it has very caring staff who speaks at least two languages (Korean and Japanese); it doesn’t have the best equipment (it can get a bit smoky), but the meat is really fresh and cut with quality in mind. If you are looking to a place to please someone that you don’t know very well, maybe go to other spots. But if you are simply searching for great foods, this place is it. Recommend: inner part of ribs (still unsure what it is, but the meat is really juicy), beef tongue (its not your average thin cut. Texture is 💯), Galbi (very well marinated), beef tang (very umami and it doesn’t feel like they added MSG in it), rice (the mixed texture is wonderful).
