Sushi bar, table seating and bar for your dining delight! Don't sit at those tables where you have to take your shoes off and hang your legs under the table. You might need to be in yoga shape to get out afterwards. The service was pretty good and the food was comfort for me. The combination set meals were reasonably priced and the food was good. I would come back again to eat. The parking is done by valet and you drop your car off the right side of the building as you face the front.
Fantastic tasting specialty rolls, generous fresh sashimi cuts, and great drinks! Always makes for an excellent experience. Just don't drive too fast when close by if using a driving app or you'll go right past it. Also it is free valet parking. Sit at the bar for a happy hour with a half off rolls and sashimi, so that means even better prices!

The food here is great and the staff is attentive and friendly. Bathrooms here are sufficient- better than the kailua location. The atmosphere is pleasant, like how I would imagine a Japanese restaurant to be- with some tables situated where you're seated lower to the floor. There's also regular tables, bar seats, and sushi bar seats. We sat at the sushi bar. What a treat that was, being able to watch the sushi chef work. The food is prepared and plated beautifully.
There are only 2 drawbacks to this restaurant that kept me from giving it 5 stars: parking and price. Parking is by vallet only which is nice to not have to look for a spot but does add the extra cost of tip (vallet is free with validation at the restaurant). Cost overall was somewhat understandable for presentation and quality but you can probably get comparable food and service elsewhere for a bit cheaper (those with more refined palate may disagree with me here).

This unpretentious Japanese restaurant has excellent food at excellent prices. Stop by on Tuesdays for 25% off your bill or any evening during happy hour for discounted sushi rolls. The appetizers are great -- my favorite is the butterfish karaage so try that if you're not sure where to start! Cheap beer (Kirin and Bud Light) is always on draft and a great saké selection can be recommended by the staff. This is not a place for wine, but they make an awesome li hing mui margareta! Parking is validated at the adjacent lot.
Awesome place to eat. Prices are reasonable for the quality and amount of food you get.
If you would like to eat more on the Japanees style while sitting on the floor, this restaurant is for you. They also offer more traditional table and chairs.
This restaurant is closed durring the day and parking is mostly valle.
You will also want to make reservations if you plan to eat here.

I wasn't sure if our request for reservations would be honored as I had to wait for almost an hour before I got confirmation. Food was delicious. My hungry stomach was satisfied. But service is still a little slow pace for me.
The food was absolutely delicious. Sushi and rolls we fresh. The waiter was courteous and friendly. We would definitely go back.
Really enjoyed myself at Tokoname. We had the hori section, which was. Fun experience but isn't for everyone. I had the butterfish teishoku. Deeeelishh. Along with the tempura for the table. Such a good assortment. We also had the assorted sashimi, fresh and delicious. The staff was pleasant and attentive and I will be back again.
