Seriously best garlic shrimp we have had on our trip! Just sad we found it on our last night here. We ordered 6 plates and our groups was fighting over the last bits of sauce soaked rice!
Steak was cooked perfectly. Salad was great selection of crisp fresh greens with the right amount of dressing. Mac salad was plain-the way it should be! Why ruin a good thing and add tons of stuff! And the shrimp! Onolicious is the only word I can use. It was garlicky without being overwhelmingly garlic.

First time visiting, garlic shrimp was amazing. This place is a definite must visit.
We arrived yesterday and was starving. This place is hands down amazing!!!! So fresh and they had a special. The shrimp was so juicy tender and so yummy. The rice had the perfect amount of garlic sauce on it. Just everything together so good. I’m still craving it. If you are wondering if this place is bomb yes it is. The staff is super friendly and they def get down in the kitchen thanks for the yummy food
The garlic shrimp had a great portion of pineapple, salad, shrimp, and rice. The salad had a nice dressing which made it enjoyable to eat before the rest of the food. The combination of both the garlic shrimp and the rice was the bomb. The shrimp was juicy and lacked nothing. The sauce that came from the shrimp soaked into the rice which made it even more enjoyable to eat. Spent $15 on each meal. The wait took around 10 minutes but it was certainly worth it.

We snagged a couple of Pineapple Boats which were phenomenal, a flawless bliss with unreal flavor, seasoning, attention to detail and awesome aesthetics. The combination of flavors were rad, extremely fresh and plentiful with big fat juicy shrimps. I got the spicy flavoring which takes your Pineapple game to an almighty next level, trust me.
This place is so sweet, we decided to come back a couple of days later and take advantage of the Thursday Garlic Shrimp deal. A great laidback, chilled out and relaxed vibe and fantastic place to grub.

Wearing vacation hats for this one! Garlic shrimp was very good. Rice was amazing. Steak was pretty good but perhaps not the best cut. Not really air conditioned but has ceiling fans. Recommended!
After perusing the midweek options at Waikiki Food Hall, I settled on Five Star Shrimp's daily special for $9. Just as good, if not better, than Giovanni's. No need to drive to the N. Shore! Shrimp had a nice snap and the butter garlic sauce made my taste buds happy. Eat your salad folks, cuz if there's something green included with your meal, that makes it a health food ;)
My standard for garlic shrimp is Giovanni’s. Unfortunately the shrimp plate on the day I had it wasn’t in the same league as Giovanni.
For out of towners like me, you have to put the order in at the bar in the middle of the food hall. You can’t order directly from the restaurant.
Hidden gem! Literally the BEST shrimp I have ever had. We have spicy and garlic shrimp. Their white rice was also amazing. So so flavorful! You know how when you order peel and eat shrimp, and you peel the shrimp & sometimes lose the flavor?? That’s not the case here! Seriously, I have had so much shrimp from so many restaurants… this is probably, actually hands down. the BEST I’ve ever had. It’s in the food court area of the outdoor mall, so sometimes it’s hard to find. HIGHLY recommend!!

Wife and I agree this is the best shrimp we have ever had. Had the spicy shrimp myself and not too hot. Just right.
