Choi's Garden pleasantly surprised me with its recent reopening after renovations!!
I thought this place was gone for good..phew!
I brought a family member along, and she enjoyed the overall experience. While I used to exclusively get takeout for their lunch specials, the in-restaurant dining elevated my love for this place even further.
The exceptional customer service stood out, as not just one, but two staff members went above and beyond to keep us informed about a slight rice delay. The restaurant boasts a wonderfully modern ambiance, complete with a bell system that evokes the authentic Korean dining experience!
We both went for the lunch specials with every bite of the tantalizing bulgogi and fish dishes. And let me tell you, the Kimchi Jigae soup was a taste sensation, perfectly balancing its oniony, meaty, spicy, sweet, and sour flavors. It's the kind of hearty, home-style kimchijie that hits all the right spots.
Without a doubt, Choi's Garden holds 1st place in my heart, making it my absolute favorite Korean dining spot in all of Hawaii. Don't miss out on this exceptional gem!
I’m not sure what some people are talking about here. This place is awesome. The food is excellent, and our server was really nice to us. We had a great experience. No complaints, 100% would recommend. Beef combo is 🔥🔥🔥
My boyfriend and I went to Choi's Garden for an authentic experience. This is exactly what we received. Choi's Garden was beyond our expectations. Upon arrival, the atmosphere was beautiful. Inside was just as amazing. The atmosphere was soft with dim lights and music. It was perfect for an intimate setting and for groups. The food was tasty and perfect in everyway. The meat was great quality, the sides were just as tasty, and the presentation was beautiful. The service was good. The servers helped us when we needed it and even cooked for us when they had down time. For a great price, me and my boyfriend had a great experience. I would recommend this resturant to anyone if they are looking for an authentic, tasty experience. We will definitely be back again!
Best Korean BBQ I've ever had. I have been to Seoul, and my uncle is a Korean chef, but this place is on another level. We ordered the wagyu beef brisket and pork bbq. The meat was high quality, and there are so many side dishes. The kimchi was so crunchy and refreshing. The staff and the owners are nice and welcoming. They just opened more than a month ago so they didnt have a lot reviews yet. I would definitely go here when I visit Honolulu again.
Prices seemed expensive on paper, but the meats were good cuts, and the service was great! I liked that the fat and oils drained to a little tray on the table and not back into the grill.
Very close to authentic Korean food .
Overall I loved this place the best if I'm going for real korean food (when I miss home😊)
