Fresh Ahi Off The Boat

Found this place off Yelp and it was the best decision ever. The service was amazing, it was super clean and our food came out fast. Everyone is so friendly. The prices are actually good for what you get. Good portions, and everything is AMAZING! I’m in love with this place. We are visiting from California and I’d have this everyday if I can. Sad they’re closing though. I heard them talk about closing so I suggest going before they’re not in business anymore. They’re not opening another location.

I got the medium spicy ahi bowl, which came with miso soup. I got brown rice with the bowl and it arrived topped with furikake. The spicy ahi was topped with sesame seeds and green onions. Overall the taste was decent, but overpriced IMO because the fish was about the size of a single ice cream scoop and not a chunk of fish in sight. Pureed, maybe? I prefer to see chunks of fish in my poke bowl.

My wife and I love this place and are regular customers because it's fast and consistently ono. If I don't get their ahi loco moko, I often get the bowl with two proteins and double choysum over purple rice. It's healthy, good price, and filling. With the five star app we'll get the complimentary vegetarian gyoza every now and then too.

Consistently good. I eat here at least once a week, if not more. One time my food tasted bad because the rice cooker wasn't rinsed well (kinda tasted soapy) and they apologized profusely and replaced it immediately. The staff knows knows me well enough to just ask if I want "the same" and it's nice to get that personal service.
