Excellent experience all around. The food was fantastic. The wait staff seemed genuinely happy we were dinning there. Fresh. Delicious. And the dish presentations were outstanding. Don’t let the outside facade or decor fool you... you are there for the delicious food. Everything else starts fading in the background when they bring out the platters. It’s all about the food! I had the Tsunami bowl. Very popular and spicy. It lives up to its name... Fresh Ahi Off the Boat!

Hand down one of the best places to get a quick, healthy, high-quality ahi don for an affordable price! I recommend black rice with every choice... and usually get hurricane bowl or local bowl.

Poke bowls here were so fresh and amazing. I had the crispy shrimp tempura and ahi tuna bowl which was insane. Everyone had varied bowl and rolls in our group and everyone was happy. Service was good to. Highly recommend

Found this place off Yelp and it was the best decision ever. The service was amazing, it was super clean and our food came out fast. Everyone is so friendly. The prices are actually good for what you get. Good portions, and everything is AMAZING! I’m in love with this place. We are visiting from California and I’d have this everyday if I can. Sad they’re closing though. I heard them talk about closing so I suggest going before they’re not in business anymore. They’re not opening another location.

Our first stop on this trip to Oahu! Was starving and saw this place highly rated and decided to stop by on the way to our hotel. I got a medium ahi poke bowl. Flavours were nice. Typical of other places in town I think. Heard some Korean from the kitchen which explains the Korean styled veggies they served with the poke bowl. Nice twist I enjoyed it! I was starving so the medium bowl wasn't really enough...although my husband stole the last few bites...he got the local bowl which had poke, pork and a tomato salmon salsa thing which was pretty interesting! We both got white rice but they also have brown rice option as well! They have a couple drink options...green teas and soda mostly. All in all I would probably come back of I were in the area. Although there's still so many others I have yet to try!

Cute shop, very very small, pretty crowded. A little overpriced to keep up with the cost of seafood. But any perceived lack of value is made up for in creativity, freshness, and customizability (that's a word, right?). Fish fresh from the pier. Remarkable for their customizable poke bowls--get it how you like it. Miso soup with every Bento order. Only shop I've seen so far that uses black (AKA purple) rice. Free cooler of water with cups on the side. Can drinks only; no fountain. Frequented by area office workers, girlfriends' lunch crews, and 20-somethings on dates; pretty much everyone. A good mix of folks; low-key casual vibe. A bit tight for strollers, but pretty kid friendly in general. Try for the limited on-street parking, if you can find it and are a lightning-fast parallel parker on this busy street (it is easier to get in and out and metered parking here is relatively cheap). Free parking lot is part of an oddly attached set of three small parking lots for a Korean supermarket, another few restaurants, a handbag shop, and an assortment of other small shops--like most places around the Ala Moana area, stalls are small, awkward, and angled (read: free parking and free door dings). Accepts credit cards. Catering menu available. Allows called in orders ahead of time. Their one-year anniversary is in July, so expect deals from 5star. In fact, just sign up on the 5Star app anyway for some deals, if you're planning to frequent this shop at all. Great little shop, tweaking an island staple. Minus a half star for inconsistency in dishes, parking difficulties, lack of seating, and pricing.

Fish was very fresh. Love that they have 4 different rice options. Very tasty sauces and tons of toppings to choose from. You can make your own custom bowl, or have one of their predesigned bowls. Love the korean chili sauce! It pairs well with veggies and fresh ahi.

The wife and I decided to come here for a quick lunch after arriving at the airport. Staff were friendly and recommended the local bowl which turned out to be a pretty good choice. Chunks of tasty ahi tuna with Hawaiian style pulled pork served over your choice of rice. Service was super quick and there was lots of free parking in the complex. Would want to return to try other items on the menu.

Nice place right off keeamoku across HMSA. Portion size is alittle smaller than Ahi & Vegetable but a nice alternative then going to downtown.
