Dave's Hawaiian Ice Cream - Honolulu - Photo album

Fantastic. Great ice cream for the money. The macadamia and coconut is fantastic. And you can not be at the fresh made waffle cones. We had quite a few flavors and all of them have been fantastic. Particularly like the UBE.
We are back in 2023! Dave’s moved around the corner to a larger ice cream shop AND has more flavors. The owner here is Val (I hope I got her name correct, I’m horrible with names) is the sweetest lady and works so hard to provide the best ice cream, great customer service and so much more. My wife a

Awesome ice cream shop located at the hotel Ilikai. Wide selection of flavours and friendly staff. They har 2$ per scoop on tuesdays, the line becomes long those days. Rainbow sherbert was my favorite flavor!
I highly recommend the ube, melon, and Hawaiian mud pie, but there are many yummy flavors to choose from. We sampled a lot of them, and it was hard to choose! The presentation is beautiful. The staff is kind. The resort setting is picturesque. Brings joy to the day.

There was a longgg wait (45 minutes) because we didn’t know it was $2 Tuesday! It was worth the wait though, since they will serve customers until the line ends even after they’re supposed to close at 10pm. Lots of unique ice cream flavors to choose from and the workers are super nice!
We stayed at the Ilikai and got vouchers for Keiki size which is perfect for me. They don’t have a ton of flavors but they had ones we like. They do sprinkles for free for the kids. Sugar and cake cones are free. The line can get long and there isn’t much seating.
Just grabbed some and it was not only delicious, but unlike a lot of places they did not skimp on the scoops. Shout out to the cashier, she was very friendly and willing to give samples. My wife was about to get the Hawaiian Mud Pie but informed her it was a coffee based flavor beforehand, which hel
