The meat selection is not that great. Everyone I go it's like there is nothing good or anything to buy. They do have the best vegetable selections and the quality is way better then both Safeways in kailua area. I go to Safeway for meat and veggies at times. I go here to buy plate lunch and when I was to eat shabu shabu 😀

Times always has the best fish and best prices on bread and milk. It is one of my GoTo places. At least once a week, sometimes 3x a week! Update: oh I've already given 5 stars. Well done, Times Supermarket. Still the best little secret in town. Update: Still the best little grocer in town. My go-to place for veggies when I don’t want to pay premium at whole paycheck. Pharmacy gives excellent service, cashiers and other staff are consistently nice and helpful. Do watch for expired dates (they aren’t staffed enough for every detail but that helps keep prices down) Oh and the bakery is great (wasn’t there 3 years ago) serves fresh baked items.

Been coming here since I was 5 years old. I went about 5pm and there was hardly anyone inside, but there was only one cashier open with 6 people standing in line. Luckily when i got to the front they opened another check out. But please tell me why a large grocery store does not carry light bulbs and especially appliance light bulbs. They always had a small section for household maintenance. Bring it back please.
