One of my favorite places to eat in Oahu! Bare interiors but really high quality food. Highly recommend the sashimi combo plate (such great value for 30 dollars), seafood stew, kimchi fried rice, and meat jun!

Amazing customer service and DELICIOUS food truly life changing best kalbi and sashimi i’ve had possibly ever. Delicious chicken wings! Best kimchi fried rice. Thank you for an unforgettable dinner!

I’m so glad we decided to come here for dinner one night during our stay on Oahu. It has limited seating but we only had to wait 10-15 minutes. We both ordered tofu soups and the seafood pancake to start with some soju. Everything was delicious and service was quick and attentive. We’ll be coming back again.

One of the best meals we had while visiting O’ahu! We had the sashimi platter and the beef jeon and poke plate. Everything was delicious and the portions were very generous! Service was also great.

Saw Kyung’s on a list of essential “off the beaten path” Honolulu restaurants. We’re pretty adventurous eaters and love Korean and sushi, so this seemed up our alley. Without doing too much research, we walked over from Waikiki and started getting nervous that the restaurant would be a tiny hole in the wall or sketch etc. But were pleasantly surprised when we went inside. The staff was super friendly and welcoming.
We ordered the small sashimi platter plus the Kalbi and Poke combo. This came with some banchan of kimchi, Mac salad, and pickled radishes. Everything was delicious!! The sashimi was some of the best I’ve had, even compared to some of the “elite” sushi spots we’ve had in LA. And the kalbi were so good too. All the banchan were very good too. For the money, we felt this was really good value.
All in all, highly recommend!

Years ago, when aunty Kyung first moved to the current location, I used to eat there almost every night. I'm back over now from NZ and was both very excited to eat here again and very saddened to hear of aunties passing 😔.
Her daughter, who I remember as a little girl sitting in the restraunt most nights, is now fully grown and running the show and, what a job she's doing! You won't find mo betta food on this island than here, poke/kalbi combo is absolutely insane on the taste buds!
I'm stoked that you have all kept this restaurant, no, this legacy going and are doing such an amazing job at it . You should all be very proud!
If I can give one piece of criticism, just because we always need something to strive for... get the K-pop video clips back on at least one of the TVs. No need sound, they were just such a fun thing to watch while eating and always added to the experience there.
Mahalos guys for tha grindz and I hope I can get in one more time before I fly out. Big 🤙 to you!

First time trying here. It's kind of a hole in the wall place... not too big but cozy. Food was delicious 😋 and very friendly staff. I would definitely go again.

Came here for dinner on a Wednesday. We rant to reserve a table in advance, which they were happy to accommodate.
It’s a vibrant/loud restaurant that really feels authentic.
The food was amazing, great value and delicious.
We got the sashimi $30, meat Jun and kalbi. All tastes great.
I’d highly recommend for a good value, delicious and easy meal.

Got the meat jun and mandoo plate and it was amazing! The meat jun is tender and the mandoo was chubby and meaty! The plate came with rice, kimchi and mac salad — they all tasted delicious. They take cards as payment method. The wait is not long (it was a Wednesday lunch time). There’s indoor seating area with AC and they played korean music.

In A Nutshell:
-Kyung's Seafood is a local spot to grab some good comfort Korean/Japanese food.
-They specialize in "fresh local ahi sashimi and poke".
-This small restaurant is located on the corner of South King & Birch Street.
-There is a very small, 3 car parking lot.
-We ordered their popular combo of Korean short ribs (galbi) + Poke.
-The short ribs were a little undercooked, so we asked them to cook them a little longer, but once they came back again, they were really good b/c they are pretty thick short ribs.
-The poke is plentiful & tasty.
Overall, this is a local spot so if you live here or visiting w/ a large group of people, maybe you could look into their catering service.
