Okonomiyaki Chibo Restaurant - Honolulu - Photo album

Very friendly and helpful staff. Chef was amazing, both in cooking and in educating us on each dish. All food was incredible, we had garlic fried rice, garlic shrimp, okonomiyaki, crispy gyoza. Highly recommend all of these dishes! Atmosphere was chill and welcoming, even tho small. Parked across st
We eat the Tepanyaki, the Chef was amazing, we had the honor to be served by the second in command in the restaurant. We have a very nice time and he also gave us recommendations for things to try in Japan. My boyfriend and I enjoyed a lot the delicacy he had when preparing the dishes. What a wonder
Attentive staff, prompt service, good okonomiyaki. Went during dinner time on a Friday evening but we were seated promptly. Staff were quick to take our orders. Atmosphere of the place is nothing too welcoming but not too bad either. Cold pitcher of Sapporo paired perfectly with the okonomiyaki.
Really great food and service. Both Hiroshima and Osaka styles of okonomiyaki. It's nice to watch the chef cook in front of you without the unnecessary flips and tricks. I'll definitely visit again on my next visit.
The Korean salad was super light and crunchy! The piña colada was creamy and sweet. The ahi tuna came with a light dipping sauce. The assorted seafood was perfectly grilled. The miso soup was ok. The perfect dinner of you want some seafood and salad!
Finally got to try okonomiyaki, and this place did not dissapoint. Solid teppanyaki-style table-top prep and service, and more options than I could try in one sitting. Surprisingly rich foods and flavors. Small cozy space, feels like a hidden gem, but busy enough that you know it's no secret!
Fantastic okonomiyaki...felt like being back in Osaka. Served fresh and hot. Didn't have the teppanyaki but it looked tasty!
Garlic shrimp had good flavor and taste. The Okonomiyaki was fine - normal level among what I have had before. The special pineapple and lychee juice was kind of sweet. Needs reservation for dine-in. The counter seats were specially served with the chef cooking right in front of you, but those seats
I am not much of a wasabi person, but the Furikake Ahi with Wasabi Mayonnaise was great. It was not spicy much, but had just the right amount of wasabi. I recommend trying it. I would definitely get that again. The Yakisoba "Chibo" was not bad either. The salad dressing was also great. Waitress was
The food was excellent!!! Every dish we had was outstanding. Oknomiyaki was light and fluffy, garlic fried rice is a must order, and the garlic shrimp was filled with umami. Chef was super nice, we wrapped with a slice of Japanese sponge cheesecake. Yum. If you don't need all the Teppanaki show stuf
Very good Japanese Teppanyaki place. If seated inside, make sure to get seats by the chefs tables where all meat, fish, veggies and omelettes are cooked to order. Lots of fresh seafood as well as really nice pieces of meat. Slightly over cooked seafood when it comes to the Octopus and Scallop (to ou
Absolutely delicious! This has been the best food we have had on Oahu, we plan to eat here at once more before we leave. Don’t miss out on this amazing food.
Really good. The okonomiyaki was the best and so was the beef filet. The service was really good and the chef cooking infront of us was really friendly and funny. The food was a bit expensive but it’s worth the money.
This beautiful place deserves all the praise. Just shut up and take my money!!!! Cocktails - Excellent. Service - Top Tier. Food - EXQUISITE!!!! I am not an expert in Japanese cuisine, but I CAN say I eat a lot of food. Went with the prix fixe menu. Love love love 💓💝❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥
Excellent experience here during our Christmas lunch! Customer service is great and so as the food. Grilled ahi is the best. Steak-ju is savory good and the virgin daiquiri is the best drink at the time. Each meal comes with sticky rice, tossed green salad and miso soup. You gotta try their menu f
This little gem is an outstanding dining experience! The staff were so professional and friendly, the food was EPIC, and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. Try the green tea ice cream! Do whatever you have to do to end up with some scallops! I highly recommend eating here.
I found this restaurant on Yelp in the Waikiki area. The service was professional and fast, each single staff member was exceptional and delightful in customer service. I ordered the six course meal with champagne (they let us replace champagne with Japanese beers). Ahi Poke - excellent soy sauce
Amazing Dinner. We had the Honeymoon special so we could try all the food, it was a lot of food for just two people so come hungry. Chef Joy was great, he kept us entertained and made sure everything was to our liking. Honeymoon includes two glasses of champagne, two salads, the lobster tail, assor
Chef Jay was amazing! The Okonomiyaki was wonderful and every dish we had was delicious.
