I always live visiting Mitsuwa in Los Angeles. It's a reliable place to get decent Japanese food. This was no different. The ramen was spicy, the noodles were tasty. The karaage was crunchy and crispy- piping hot too because they made it fresh for me.
They have lots of gashapon machines with various anime figures. They do but take cash, only tokens. The tokens are 10 for $20, and most machines take 3-5 tokens.

Great selection of rice plate hot or cold. Ready to go simple sushi and drinks if you want a little snack.

Located on the second floor of the International Market Place in Waikiki. This place is about 35K sq. ft. including a small Japanese grocery store with a small liquor and beer selection. Inside, there is a food court inside with ramen, tempura & beef place plus tables to eat, so that was a bit of a surprise. Very convenient and familiarized with tourists from Japan or East Asia. Price is pretty reasonable, nothing outrageous or from what I can tell. Highly recommended for something unexpected and worth a short stroll to check it out.

This is a pretty standard Mitsuwa market. I had dinner at an izakaya inside. It was really good. They had all the non-standard meats. I have always been a fan of offal so I am biased here.
I had chicken hearts, beef, beef tongue, and chicken liver. Each of the items cost about $4. There's a three item minimum.
Yeah putting sheets of paper and pens for you to mark your order. I handed my order to the gentleman at the register. The order was up in about 10 minutes. You can see your order cooking from the side.
They serve alcohol here. I got a drink from the market.
My order was spiced and cooked perfect. Really good stuff. They included spicy mustard that was really spicy and radish (I think). Presentation was great.
There is a seating area right there that was constantly bussed. The area was clean and brightly lit. It made for a pleasant dinner.

Buggah Ono. 4.5 oz Wagyu was on point. Even better with the Garlic Flakes.

Love this place. A lot of little Asian spices and food additions and a great selection of rice crackers, among other things. It is just a fun place to walk around and find little items to take home and use or give as gifts - just a delight to visit and if you want a bento they have a great selection.

If you are looking for some sushi/sashimi/poke, go to the food area in this market, very good quality and reasonable prices. The rice they use are grown from Japan, tasty.
They also have a lot of bento choices, hot food station.

Really like Mitsuwa! Very well stocked with lots of options and reasonable prices at prime location. The ramen itself is ok, but very convenient if you are hungry

Saw this in the international marketplace mall on the way to an ice cream shop. Its a decently sized Japanese market. There is a nice variety of grab and go foods you can pick up. Theres hot meals and cold meals. Things like onigiri, misubi, fried fish, sushi, poke bowls, and more. Theres also a small food court of like 3 little shops like a ramen shop. Theres also spices, treats, and drinks. They have a small beauty section as well. It was really cool in there definitely a good place to go to get your japanese goods.
