Coconut shrimp are crispy, and local drinks were good. Coleslaw was refreshing.We loved the atmosphere on the beach. He had good service as well. I would suggest walking to the lagoon and leaning back on a palm tree while watching the water. I would come again if I lived closer.
Perfect locations and delicious coconut shrimp!
The shack is right as you enter the beach area. The staff are courteous and quick to make the food, we waited 10 min for 4 big meals. We got some chairs and umbrellas and ate on the beach. The fisherman's platter was enough to share between 2 people.

Great food truck, got the fish and chips it was really good. Didn't have to wait long. Only thing was no seating to sit down so we just ate it on the beach. Great spot!
Great food and good locating if you are at Kahanamoku Beach and Hilton Lagoon. It just seemed like the person taking the order wished she was hanging out at the beach instead of working. Coconut shrimp was delicious! The fish tacos were not that special, but still a good choice. Food was ready fast.
First Time at this spot. I would recommend this spot to anybody who love seafood. You can enjoy the beach as well. There is a huge parking lot to park your vehicle. Cash Only. Shrimp and steak was amazing plus the Fries

Gilligans is a great place for a quick lunch on the beach. Prices are responsible for the area and will definitely fill you up. I had the coconut shrimp and the garlic shrimp. Both were very good. Had the surf and turf (shrimp & teriyaki steak bites) with fries & cole slaw and it was so yummy!! Staff was friendly too. We went to the other famous shrimp truck on the north shore and Gilligan’s was FAR superior!!
Gilligan's Beach ⛱️ Shack!! Must visit when you're in the Hilton Honolulu area. The Garlic Shrimp or the Fishman's platter are delicious.
Fries are SO good with the garlic sauce they make. The shrimps and steak tasted fresh and were cooked normally. The mahi was okay and the coleslaw was good/average. The passion orange juice was good! They only took cash - you can go inside the hotel or establishment nearby that has an ATM.
We ordered the Garlic Shrimp, which comes with crispy shoestring fries and fresh coleslaw. We also got two shaved ices. The lady on the booth was very accommodating to special requests on our orders.
I loved my time there and the food was good! You are LITERALLY right on the beach and the view is spectacular! You can’t find something like this anywhere else!
Had the surf n turf whilst sitting under a tree nearby. A great experience. The shrimp was all garlicky, the teriyaki beef was delicious and the fries were fresh and crispy. Yummmmm!!!!!!!!
