First time visit for dinner. Service was great (specifically Kalani), atmosphere were amazing, right on the beach at sunset.
The food, even though a somewhat limited menu was really delicious.
We ordered the Lobster Bisque, NY Steak and Beef Wellington, plus drinks.
I do recommend trying this place.
The Customer service at Michel's was amazing, from the valet crew to the waitress. The personalized menu's were a nice touch 👌. The views were beautiful! No need to worry about parking, valet available and you surely will not be rushed while you enjoy your time out with your special someone 😉. The food was delicious and presentation was..well see for yourself in the photos. I will definitely be back thank you for making our night so special! Again..I highly recommend.
Feeling slightly hungry & craving escargot, my S.O. & I decided to go to Michel's. We each ordered a salad, followed by escargot for him, and oysters for me. We received a complimentary chef item to try. It was on a crostini with some sort of salmon mixture & topped with caviar & dill. It was delicious! My warm scallop salad, which I've never had before, was amazingly tasty. His, a king crab salad, was also just amazing. All kinds of flavors & textures for both, which melded greatly together. Including the beautiful layout & view, and attentive service we received from both our server & the manager, Philip, it made for a perfect evening. We highly recommend! You will not be disappointed... and yes, the escargot & oysters were excellent too!
The food was creative and well plated. The view and ambiance were what we had hoped. The staff, however, was a bit too casual. When you drop $200 per person, I would expect elite and dignified service. They were more like a staff you'd find a steakhouse chain.
Never disappoints! Beautiful view, sound of waves, and delicious food...what else do you need in Hawaii!
Michels has the best service in all the restaurants I've been to in Oahu. From the moment you walk in everyone is so kind, tentative, and friendly. The staff seems happy to be there, which makes a difference in the dining experience. The dish presentations were beautifully put together and the food exceeded our expectations. I mean how do you compete with listening to the waves crash while you eat a medium rare rack of lamb?? My boyfriend and I loved the entire night. On average expect to spend about $150 per person, drinks included. Oh and you would be missing out if you do not try their cinnamon old fashioned. Hands dooowwwn the best old fashioned I've had in my entire life! We will be going back... In fact it's the day after and I already want to dine there again!
Michel's has been one of the best restaurants since I can remember (and I'm old). A friend and I went on 11/7 to continue our world food tour... that night it was France. Chef Hardy stopped by to speak with us (thank you chef!); it made our visit even more special. We began with amuse bouche and glasses of Empress 1908 gin and Fever Tree tonic water. Next up were the escargot and foie gras appetizers...the foie gras was simply divine! We selected the Chateaubriand as our entrée... Michel's presentation (carved tableside) is perfection. We had glasses of Overture by Opus One... a great pairing! We finished our meal with chocolate souffles... not too sweet, just right, and I had coffee.
What can say but....highly recommended!
