We're big fans of shave ice so it was a real treat to find this place in the small community of Honokaa. Looks like the place was a soda fountain in a former life which works very well as a shave ice parlor. Nice fine ice, good taste on the syrups and the ube ice cream is a tasty alternative to vanilla. Andrea was exceptionally friendly and did a nice job crafting our treat. Highly recommend to all, visitors and locals alike.

What a charming shaved ice experience! Penny actually stayed open a bit longer to help us! The inside of the shop is very cool and set up like an old fashioned ice cream parlor! Their sides include mango dolphins, coconut jelly, grape hearts and Mochi! I am excited to find this cute shop! I will be back!

Great little shop. Lots of flavors and varieties to choose from. This was the perfect treat after a hike. Worth the drive. Glad we stopped!! Snow capped is highly recommended but my family also liked the added ice cream scoop.
This place is awesome!! The shave ice is delicious, lots of options on flavors n toppings. Takes awhile to choose what to try today :-) The employees are very friendly n willing to offer suggestions. U gotta try here!!
I have been coming here ever since they opened last year and it’s been great. The store is run by Shark Tank entrepreneur Mai. She invented the Original CreaClip, a do it yourself hair cutting tool for women. The shave ice store just expanded to a bigger location next door a couple month ago. The Honoka’a Shave Ice is my personal favorite. It comes with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and blue Hawai (vanilla), banana, and strawberry shave ice on top. They also offer fresh booba (bubble) tea, which they make fresh daily! It’s amazing, Taro is my favorite flavor. I just love coming here, thanks for being such a great support for Honokaa!!
Nice atmosphere large variety of flavors. A few varieties of ice cream. Friendly staff. Live it will definitely come back!!!
