First time visitor to Honesdale and Camp Umpy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Bagels were fresh and tasty but a little light on the cream cheese. Place seemed fairly busy with a lot of locals coming in to grab something on their way to work.
The food was amazing and the service was even better, definitely coming back
Breakfast time! Up in Honesdale in Northeast PA is Camp Umpy’s Bagels & Stuff! I love themed cafes and restaurants, so as soon as I had originally found them online I knew I had to stop in. It had the same cabin and lake vibes that you would feel at summer camp and the lovely staff was so warm and welcoming. It’s impossible to not be a happy camper during a visit to Camp Umpys!
Since our first visit, we try to make a stop there every time we are in the Honesdale area and to this day is one of my highest recommendations for those visiting. If you are ever in the area, a meal at Camp Umpys is a must!
My entire family and I have been going to Umpy’s since it opened. As a favorite place to stop before school back in the day to a new place I bring visiting family and friends, this is by far my favorite place in Honesdale. The staff is always kind and accommodating. I have gotten everything on the menu at some point and everything is completely delicious, I have never once had a problem with the food here. The community involvement and collecting donations to relevant organizations that desperately need it make this spot even more than just a bagel shop. The staff, even the owner, recognize you and greet you by name if you’re a regular and are so grateful for your business. I will always recommend this place, such a staple of Honesdale.

Visiting from out of town we were delighted to find a great bagel. The staff was friendly, efficient, and welcoming. Good coffee too!
Around 15 of us showed up (on our off day from working at a nearby summer camp) planning to grab a bite to eat. We were a little worried that we would overcrowd and stress the staff, but everyone was so lovely and wonderful, all smiles and making pleasant conversation. After we all ordered and sat around for a while, they announced that they were closing, and we all hurried to jump out of our seats and leave. We were told not to worry and finish our food before leaving. 10/10 a fantastic place, and I would come back to Honesdale just to visit here again
Awesome customer service. Always nice when either my husband or I call to place an order even when either of us goes in to pick up the order. Their food is absolutely amazing and they accommodate you if needed as well. I dont eat eggs and I usually get a bodda head just with no egg and they have mo problem doing it for me. We go here as much as we can due to their food being amazing and the customer service 😊😊 highly recommend going here for breakfast or even lunch.. 😊😊
My first visit to this Honesdale restaurant! We're ordered several lunch bagel sandwiches and they were all fantastic! Will definitely return!!!
Feeling lucky that we have a house in Honesdale and can drop in on Camp Umpy’s, but this place is worth a drive. Best bagel I’ve had in years, and the choices are amazing.
