My boss, Jeremy, said "I have a new deli I want to try." I get excited, because I love new places and frequently go to Bergstein's NY deli in Chicago Heights, but I'm willing to try something new. It's similar to BNY deli in appearance, but that's about it. I got the Buffalo Blue Chicken Wrap. I take a couple of bites and notice that there's giardiniera in my wrap. The description said nothing about giardiniera being in there, so that was a not so pleasant surprise. Jeremy got a Chipotle Chicken Wrap and it also had the surprise giardiniera inside. Did the cook just think that everything should get giardiniera or did I miss the small print on the menu that said giardiniera comes with everything? Maybe he played a joke on everyone that day and sat at home that night and laughed about how he made everyone eat giardiniera??? My wrap, drink and side of macaroni salad came to $13. Also, way more expensive than BNY. A couple hours later I still smell the deli on my clothes. I embarrassingly ask my boss if he stinks too and he does. Who wants to go to a place that makes you stink for the rest of the day? It was really gross and I hope that others didn't notice my stench. Bottom line is, stick to what's good! Drive the extra 7 minutes and go to Bergstein's. It's cheaper, doesn't make you stink and they don't surprise you with giardiniera.

Very cute location and I’m going to give it a second chance, but the service and food weren’t the greatest. Did a pickup order and my food wasn’t ready on time. Staff didn’t notice I was there at first. The cashier didn’t really make me feel welcome at all. They weren’t busy, so I’m not sure why I had a poor experience. They packaged my food in a way that caused all of my fries to spill. -I walked the food home which is less than a quarter of a mile. We got a burger and a chicken sandwich. The burger was fine. The chicken was super dry and didn’t have much chicken on it. It’s obviously more of a lunch spot and I ordered for dinner, so next time I’ll try lunch.

I really want to like this place, but tonight was the last straw. Usually the service is fair at best, but I deal because the food is generally good. tonight I walked in a little after 7:30 and was ignored for almost 10 minutes. When I finally got someone's attention he said "I'm not gonna lie, but what were you planning on ordering because we're pretty much closed up". I wont be going back....

Food was good, however, there were three black women in there that were extremely unfriendly! I spoke to them and they still had attitudes! Sad that black women treat other black women so nasty! Especially when i was nice to them! Also, someone took a bite out of my sandwich, when I got home, I noticed it! Get rid of the women and the overall experience will be better!!!

I’ve been here many times and it has progressively gotten worse. Today there was music with explicit lyrics and curse words being played throughout the restaurant, the napkin dispenser was empty, and so was the condiment station. These issues were all brought to the attention of the employees and they made no effort to fix them. After requesting ketchup, my friend was given a dirty ketchup bottle from the kitchen covered in grease and food debri. On the bright side, the water is good.
