The food is amazing. The laid back, open air atmosphere is fantastic. The manager/owner? Rita was super friendly and just great. 11/10 will absolutely bartaco again-next time with friends!

BarTaco - I wish you were in my state, too. I'll have a craving indefinitely now for another meal with you. Fantastic menu of small bites and shared sides. Utterly refreshing combinations of ingredients while still hitting that 'I want tacos' spot. Casual experience, great place for friends & family to kick back and try some new twists on a classic love, tacos.

Beautiful new addition to Homewood!
The place is beautiful, clean and the outdoor seating feels like a friends back patio. We had the Duck Tacos and they were amazing!

Oh my gosh the atmosphere was awesome! Felt like I could walk right out the door onto the beach. Every person working was very friendly. The drinks were great. I'm always hesitant about taco places that aren't authentic Mexican, but there was a nice twist to their menu. They definitely make it work. Now, they just need to figure out how to add a beach 🤔😂

Went here with a couple of friends for drinks and tacos and our experience was great! I ordered the baja fish, tuna, pork belly, and portobello mushroom tacos. They were all delicious. I also ordered a sangria and the salsa verde and they were yummy.
The only strange thing was when we received our tacos, they weren't separated by our orders. We had to figure out who ordered what and separate them ourselves. Not a big deal but just odd. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves!

Service is excellent! I love the concept of using cards to indicate when you’re ready to order, if you have questions, if you need something from the waiter, etc. I ordered the guacamole, Mexican corn, Baja fish taco, chicken taco and pork carnitas. All of it was delicious. The cocktails are a little pricey. Otherwise, I highly recommend this place.
