When we come to Homestead we always stop by Marios. Great Cuban food. We always love their Shrimp Enchiladas with their specials sauce. Excellent. The yucca is very good also and their black beans. Another favorite of mine is their plantains. Really good.

Mario's is great!! #1 restaurant in Homestead Fl. We stumbled on it because we were looking for outdoor seating. The name Mario's Family restaurant is a misnomer. This is not a family restaurant with mediocre food. It is a top shelf Cuban-American restaurant. Great food, reasonable prices and friendly, attentive service. Tonight I had baby back ribs, sweet plantains and rice and black beans - a huge delicious meal - for $20.

July 2021: great food, good ambiance, great menu options, friendly staff. We went at closing time, so our service was a bit delayed. But every dish tasted great. The Cuban bread for the sandwiches were amazing.

Arrived late for a family dinner on a weeknight. Our waitress was super friendly and very attentive. Though some choices were sold out by the time we arrived, their menu gave us plenty of other food choices. Share the large portions or plan for leftovers! Highly recommended.

Mario's is fantastic I came here with my family and we were served like as if we were regulars which was a great feeling. The food I do have to say is plenty. They give you so much food for such a great price you will never go wrong with your purchase. The restaurant was very busy but we never felt like they weren't tentative of our needs. If you go here you have to try their Cafe con Leche this was delicious and definitely woke me up from a long drive I had recently had.

The food was good but the service was not very good. I had paid and was leaving and I still couldn't get my server to take my dirty dishes. She was sitting at the table next to me eating her lunch.
