The Chart Room Restaurant

The meal started out well The waiter came right to the table introducing themselves and checking if we needed anything. He seemed very eager and there was no doubt he was going to be on top of his game. He had great suggestions for our drinks and meal selections. The drinks came they were good and the appetizers came. We ordered wine to pair with our entrée, and this is where things went a bit sideways. Nearly 44 minutes after we ordered the wine pairing it made it's way to the table and still not food and 10 minutes after that the food. The food was warm so I didn't suspect this was the waiters doing, but in an hour those were our only two times the server checked on us, and he never checked on us again. We finally got up to leave to pay at the door. They gave us a free desert for our trouble and he apologized profusely. There was a very large dinner party, 20+, that had it's own runner and server which might have explained this if he was serving them as well, but it did appear he was all over the floor helping make up that servers tables. I did understand the lack of seeing our server but it still left us a little shocked with how much attention we started with and did not have at the last half of our meal. All in all the food was great and the view was amazing. Although the server ended poorly we still tipped well and had a pleasant time. I know how hard serving others can get crazy so 4 stars based on our overall experience, and would have been 5 if we would have been able to leave in under 2 hours with just a 3 course meal.

My wife and I have been a few times and always had a great experience. Most recently I ordered bison steak which was fantastic.

Good food Great breakfast Service is really good Decent price Awesome views of the ocean and the snow mountains in winter! Tried every dish on dinner menu and most dishes on morning and lunch menu, every dish is awesome, what I like most is the king crab leg , it’s cheap consider the size of it and the deliciousness of it. People are really friendly and kind. It gets really crowded in summer, so I come in winter. Besides there is no such view like snow mountains and ice floating on the ocean in summer. Really enjoyable place to have a meal. Thank you !!

I had the Halibut dinner and my wife had the Summer salad. Both were awesome. The Halibut was as good as it gets. James was our server and was wonderful.
