Mama Mary's Pizza

Honest and humble people, great tasting local pizza. I have placed an order through call and went to pick up expecting to pay the price displayed online, but when I went in for pickup they said they have applied a coupon and gave me discount, even though they could have just charged for the full amount. That’s honesty rare to find. Pizza was good too, in the journey of seeing local pizzerias, found this, and this surely deserves its rating and reviews. Cheese was delicious and different from other pizzerias. Garden pizza was delicious! One of the best that I have tried in the recent times.

I'm prepared to give a review that isn't the greatest and to be honest I'm a little concerned after reading some of the other reviews and the responses from the owner. For example about 10 months ago a Google user by the name of Mac Baird give a one star review and the owner responded by doxxing them and also requesting that they take down their review or face "legal action". I don't think the owner realizes that doxxing is the actual crime, and all because someone was leaving an honest review. I mean the food here could be amazing but not being able to take a good or bad review without making direct or indirect threats speaks volumes about a business and it's legitimacy. So this contributed to Mama Mary's losing two stars on my review for sure. Luckily their food was of subpar quality therefore I don't have much to lose when it comes to having to decide whether they should receive my repeat business or not.. So, the crust was so dry and flavorless. The cheese and sauce were fairly decent but the toppings were stomach turning and foul. The toppings had the generic characteristics of a school cafeteria lunch or the basic quality of overly processed bulk foods. Specifically I had pepperoni, mushroom and black olive and they were respectively small, slimy, and very salty. I just looked up and over at the mirror on my wall and had to laugh out loud over the face I was inadvertently making.. a mashup of tasting something sour x legitimate fear. 10 out of 10 would not recommend based on flavor, presentation, quality of ingredients and horrible customer service!

I'll never buy pizza from here based on these reviews. The photos of the food even look terrible. I hope everyone can see through the paid reviews and bullcrap marketing and also chooses to never buy from here. Edit: the dishwasher/ bag boy/ expert pie slicer responded to my review to say that it was nonsense that I had given them one star. And to this I say I wholeheartedly agree but it is not possible to give anything less than one star for a review.

Honestly, it took me months to write this but I went to order pizza again and this was the first listing so I felt compelled to write now. Listen closely, I know food, this is barely that. Worst pizza I have ever eaten. The mushiest pizza of all time. The meat was precooked then cooked again and was sawdust. I’m not sure a dog would have eaten it. Obviously, they pay for their reviews to be a 4.5 because I’m certain the people of Toledo cannot consider this good pizza. Drive to the pizza spot in Plymouth and eat their pizza and re-introduce yourself to pizza if you think this place is good. I’m sure the owner will respond and say he can’t find my order to invalidate my review but I’m a local guide for a reason. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

This place is great! Did you know they hand chop the chicken for your chicken subs and pizza. It is a real chicken breast diced by hand by some great people. Then male manager iet was great and personalable. He was honest and real. Everyone knows working food service dealing with jerk people all day can wear you done and he has a great personality and I will definitely we walking over to see them more ony lunch. This velocity chick loves this place. Can't wait to see you at pizzapalozza this weekend!
