Relocating to Holland, Michigan in 2008 left me with two options for Chipotle. South Bend Indiana or Lansing, Michigan. I made the drive to South Bend. Eventually Chipotle came to Grand Rapids but 45 minutes is still a bit of a drive. After 8 long years of waiting, Holland is finally home to the best restaurant on earth. The food is incredible (and GMO free), the staff is super friendly, and the company supports local farmers. It's about time Michigan begins catching up to the rest of the country. :)
I always love treating myself to Chipotle I would get it everyday if I could. This location is Always very clean and staff are very friendly. I was given a free burrito bowl when I last stopped in just because they felt like it! It made my day! Thanks chipotle I'll be back soon!
The food was decent. Like my pictures show, it's best to order in restaurant where your food is being made in front of you, as you get a full bowl and can ask for more to be put on there if not satisfactory.
The many other times I've ordered online and pick up in restaurant, you could count the rice grains in the bowl. The portion was small for the price. I'm not sure why the person(s) who plate the online orders feel the need to cut the portion size in half when you are still paying the same price as when you go in restaurant. Even when you add a tip to your online order it doesn't make a difference.

I've been here twice recently, both visits at dinner time between 18:00 and 19.00. First visit ordered at the counter and had a minimal wait. The most recent time I ordered via the app. On the first visit, there were at least 4 persons working the takeout counter. This most recent visit there was on person working the takeout counter. It was very busy (Thursday night) and my order was at least 30-minutes late and the tables were very dirty and the trash was piling up. This was not true of my first visit.
The food here is very good and as compared to their nearest competitor, Chipotle is head and shoulders above the competition in ingredients and presentation. The queso is excellent. The guacamole is perhap the best I've ever tasted. I got a bowl the first visit and I really couldn't finish it. I had the tacos this most recent visit and they were excellent.
I felt a little letdown in this most recent experience, the wait for my order, the nearly overflowing trash, and the dirty table tops. I got some napkins to wipe off my table.
I know what causes these specific problems and wouldn't you know it, there's a "We're hiring" sign in several locations in the store.
I will return because the food is that good, but I'll being trying a different time slot.

Enjoyed the playlist. Fast service and friendly employees. Ice was out and trash was overflowing however.
This place was cold n dirty. Food was marginal. Made me sad because I enjoy eating Chipotle.
I realize that there is a storage of workers everywhere.

Hands down, one of the best Chipotle's in Michigan!!! We come to this location everytime we are in town. This time we visited twice and both times they had every item and were ready with back-ups to refill whatever they run out of. I appreciated the fact that they "filled" my request and were super friendly during the process. Thank you! Will definitely be back! Best tasting, hottest food, ample items, and friendliest customer service Chipotle in Michigan!!! Can't ask for anything else! (Well, maybe free Guac.?.) LOL.
When it comes to portions, and getting your moneys worth, Holland Chipotle has it down pat. I was worried with a large bowl and added guacamole that my food portions would be smaller in measure, but not only was the bowl filled to the brim with every ingredient ordered, but everything tasted like it was fresh from a home kitchen. Highly recommend for a night out, get the Pollo asada!
Great selection of vegetables and proteins. They build your meal from a multitude of ingredients.
We came in close to closing and the staff were very friendly. I would highly recommend this place.
