The place is nice and the service good and kind in Holland Downtown. I asked for the Italian Smash Burguer and was soooo good!!!! You can taste the Italian flavor but also the good flavor of the meat and cheese! And the sangria was delicious, with the taste of wine and citrus! Definitely will come back!

Came here on a whim before an event at the Holland civic center. Sat up at the bar and grabbed a quick bite and drink. Bartender was great, clearly excellent at his job and getting tips even though he was swamped. Food came out in a reasonable time so we could make it to our event. The fries were nothing to write home about, but both our sandwiches were great. I got the signature burger which uses Italian sausage and peppers, which was very unique and tasty. Fully recommend it.

Great spot in downtown Holland for lunch and dinner, prices are reasonable, the menu is very inspired and eccentric. I definitely recommend their smash burger, it was excellent, moist and had so many great flavors. The outdoor seating area is great, beautiful tall Sycamore trees providing shade. I would suggest going in with the expectation that service will be slow- they were either short staffed or just overwhelmed. Probably due to the 4th of July weekend/holiday! The host was bussing tables and seating people and the servers were running back and forth; everyone was super nice and working really hard, and the most importantly- food was really good, so if you can get over the waiting time definitely worth a visit for a flavorful distinct meal! Nice beer and cocktail selection too.

Little neck clams with white wine and a house salad were delicious. The clam dish was screaming for some bread which we ordered later. The custom drink menu is very tough to make a choice. Sooo many great options. One of the best meals we've had in a long time. Highly recommend

Waverly Stone was an exceptional experience; lovely venue for a late dinner on 8th Street, after a wonderful evening of dance at the Knickerbocker. Waverly Stone's BBQ is out of this world; their mashed potatoes are delicious; the desert menu is amazing, with delicious homemade culinary treats. Our server, Sailor, went above and beyond in attention to details. Holland has many sophisticated and top knotch restaurants, and WAVERLY STONE is one of them.

What a charming place to celebrate our anniversary! Our server, Payton, was delightful! The poached salmon was just right! The smoked old fashioned was incredible! Highly recommend!

Had a great dinner. The pork shank was so tender and delicious. My wife was less satisfied with the meatball and would have preferred to order something else.

Had a decent dinner here. Food was reasonably priced, arrived fairly quickly (especially considering how busy the place was), and the server was pleasant and efficient.

Excellent wine, upscale decor and superior service and friendly folks. Good choice of vegetables and freshly prepared. The black rice was flavorful. Start out with a pretzel with beer cheese which is large enough for several people to snack on.

The burgers I dream about while in Chicago. My first visit to this restaurant was last year while traveling through Michigan. But since then, I knew if we returned to Holland, I'd come back to Waverly Stone for another juicy and delicious burger. This time my husband and I came for the tulip festival and to attend the parade. The restaurant was packed and had almost an hour's wait. Despite being hungry after a long drive and looking for a parking spot for 40 minutes, we've decided to wait because the food here is worth it. We've had classic medium-rare burgers, fries, and kimchi on the side. The burger was as good as I remembered from the first time. Also, the prices seem reasonable - everything would be at least 25% more expensive for the same quality food in Chicago. The servers are attentive but don't hover over you all the time. I'd prefer outdoor seating to the dim inside of the restaurant. However, on the day we came, it probably was for the better, considering the crowds.
