Cotton Kitchen is a breath of fresh air. Casual fine dining at an affordable price! I loved the braised short ribs and the deconstructed tamale. The butter chicken isn't spicy at all, but has good flavor. The mashed potatoes that I had with the braised short rib were the most creamy, smooth, BEST mashed potatoes I've ever had. Seriously good. This location was formerly Rustic Chicken, but they've taken the space and made it their own. Definitely stop by for breakfast or lunch!

So glad to find a great new restaurant in Salt Lake Valley. For breakfast I would go for the Pork Chile Verde (spicy, comforting, and creamy). For dinner I would choose the Short Ribs with Mashed Potatoes. Such an indulgence. For something lighter I would go for the Quinoa Salad- still filling but not too heavy. The ingredients are good quality and they use olive oil in their cooking- no cheap oils- this is a big win! There are great gluten-free and/or vegetarian options. Go and enjoy breakfast or lunch there (not open for dinner) you will enjoy it!

I had read the other reviews and had driven by many times considering stopping here. Decided to try it today and so glad I did. I had the lox benedict. The sauce was fantastic with a hint of lemon and spice. Eggs were perfectly cooked and there was just the right amount t of lox to make it truly delightful. My mom had the eggs, toast, bacon and hashbrowns and enjoyed them as well. She shared her toast and jam with me and the homemade jam was the best thing I have tasted in a while. 4 stars only because the OJ did not taste house made and prices are a bit higher end. I would definitely return!

I've been waiting for a restaurant like this to open up near me for a long time! Genuinely amazing food that isn't your basic breakfast/brunch/lunch fare, but that also isn't too unique or strange. The staff is always so kind and welcoming. The head chef, Bobbi, clearly loves what she does and always goes out of her way to talk to each table about their meal. I've had the braised short ribs, pancakes, two egg breakfast, and green chili pork. I literally dream about all of the food! As a chef myself, this is the kind of food I could eat all day, every day. The plating is always gorgeous, and the attention to detail spreads from the food to the decor. Love the locally made drink options as well! I will be a regular here until the end of time❤

I went to Cotton Kitchen for the first time today with a co-worker. We both got the Avacado toast and were both left disappointed. We definitely way over paid for the 1 piece of toast and 2 poached eggs. Whatever was on the toast was not a good combination and the eggs tasted like they had been poached hours earlier (rubbery and kind of cold). My expectations were high because of the prices but felt that the almost $20 I spent should have given me larger portions that were actually edible.

I really enjoyed my butter chicken. Portion sizes could stand to be a little better, but I didn't leave feeling like I needed a nap. Pastries are delicious. Prices aren't cheap, but aren't insane. I left happy with my meal.
