Neighborhood Inn

Recently moved from a small town and this place made it easy to feel welcomed. Went into the bar not knowing anyone, and left knowing this will be my go to place from now on. First of all, the drinks are the cheapest in the area. The bartenders know what they are doing, and always glad to help you. Second, the food here is NOT just bar food. The food menu has a mixture of everything. They do random specials throughout the week, and then more. Soups, wings, sandwiches, burgers, BREAKFAST (weekends), and even some "mamma's cookin" home cooked comfort food. Side note: the soups are absolutely amazing, but you got to get them fast because everyone in the area knows how good they are and they will be gone so keep an eye out on their Facebook. Lastly, you will make friends here. People there are always so nice and generous to everyone. Just an all around great place to go for a beer, a game, some laughs, music and everything in between.

I will never visit this place ever again. I went into the establishment to order some hot wings. The bartender lady with the dirty blonde hair was extremely rude and nasty towards me. I went in on Saturday March 19, 2022 at 3:17 pm. She didn’t greet me she said “yes”, I stated, “I would like to order some hot wings” she again asked “do you know what you want”, I reiterated to her that I stated I would like to order some wings. She snapped at me and I responded by saying “that’s okay” and as I proceeded to walk out, she said “oh well”. That is no way to treat a paying customer. I am not sure if it had anything to do with how I was dressed and I had on a jogging suit due to me doing laundry. I am a humble person but I will not be treated like I am less than and can not be given proper service like anyone else. I work very hard and I do not mind tipping well for service. Obviously she judged me for maybe my color and how I was dress. It still does not negate the fact that I am a customer and should be given the same respect as others who frequent the establishment. I would give this place a zero if I could. I live in Hoffman and anyone who visits I would not recommend. The bartender needs to be educated on how to treat people and not just those who she deems worthy

You will be disappointed at the lazy service, and the crybaby staff, who keep complaining about ownership at this once proud establishment. The bartenders are constantly acting "put off" at any special requests on drinks, and they make customers wait for good service while they"sneak outside for a cigarette". If you are new to the area, there is no reason to waste your money on this place, your frustration will grow as the sloth- like wait staff will waste your time.
