Mills Tavern

PROS: This place was jumping when i came here. Line as long as the Apple Store's line indeed. The staff is very nice and they have two floors with a bar on each. CONS: Takes a long time for the bouncers to get everyone in and they only have two single people bathrooms on each floor. The place is tiny inside so it becomes shoulder to shoulder very quickly OVERALL: Nice place to come if you don't mind the crowds but isn't my first choice

Came in on a Friday night at around 7:30 and it was pretty empty. We came for their Bulleit and burger special, which runs until 8 pm. For $14.99, you can get the Mill’s burger and a Bulleit drink (we were able to opt for a Bulleit neat). The burger and fries were not bad. It’s pretty much what you would expect from bar food. I must say, I was a bit skeptical to try this place out since it had such bad reviews. But as I read the reviews, it seemed like the bulk of it were for the “club” late night scene and/or the rude blonde bartender working upstairs and not for the food itself. After reading those reviews, I did wonder each time I saw a blonde bartender if those reviews were geared towards them - but the one blonde we did encounter downstairs was extremely nice. I’m too old for the club scene and was really only there for the food special, so it was fine for me. I’m glad I didn’t let these 2-star club reviews deter me from going. Wouldn’t mind coming back on a Thursday for their $2 tacos!
