*HUDSON RESTAURANT WEEK SUMMER 2019 REVIEW*
I had been wanting to try Hudson Tavern for a while, so I was really excited when I saw they had a lunch option on the weekend during Hudson Restaurant Week. For $19, you can choose one appetizer and one entree from a set menu. I opted for the lump crab cake on a bed of arugula for the app, and then Seafood Medley Salad of Pan Seared Sea Scallops, Shrimp & Tuna (served on a bed of arugula with wasabi ranch dressing). I know, lots of arugula but I didn't mind. I love arugula anyway. Plus, I didn't want anything too heavy. The crab cake was just okay. It tastes like your typical crab cake that you would buy at Costco. The seafood medley was great though. The seafood tasted fresh, and I really liked the wasabi ranch dressing. My only feedback would be that I wished they put the dressing on the side for both. It was a bit too much.
Some of their dinner options sound pretty good, so I think I'd come back to try some out. I believe they used to have dinner specials on certain nights, but I don't see that on their website anymore - so maybe not.

Great food. The oysters where so thick and chunky it was a nice surprise. Food came out quick. Drinks were very tasty and beer selection was solid.

Very good place for healthy quick bites and for seafood aficionados.. perfect place for a first or second date with a trendy speakeasy bar above and cozy, healthy and delicious restaurant below.

Lovely waitress and great vibe to sit outside and watch the world pass by. Got the mignon sliders rare with the horseradish sauce. UNREAL! And my other half got the pulled pork sliders and loved them especially with the sweet potato fries. Fell in love with the red wine Cono Sur and slightly with the waitress who although was serving the whole pub and service was a tad slow but she made it. Would highly recommend.

We met friends here & we were able to sit outside with our dogs. The service was 5 stars!! Food was a little slow as it was students in the kitchen that night, but our orders were correct & hot. Our server was awesome! She apologized & brought us anything she could to make the wait ok. We were not in a hurry so no biggie. Only down side was heat lamps had been put away for season & it was pretty chilly that night

Our newest date night spot!! Honestly every single thing we've tried on the menu is delicious! The prices are so reasonable and the quality of food is outstanding. Service was great and the bartender while busy kept our drinks full! Highly recommend, definitely taking all visitors here!

Went there last night for an early dinner and we had a wonderful time..First off, the waitress and others were very pleasant and professional..The place was very clean & the food was excellent..The bruschetta tasted great; the penne pasta I ordered with chicken was delicious and my husband had no complaints about his medium done steak..He loved it .The drinks were reasonably priced. I will absolutely visit again when the weather gets warmer..

Our server was wonderful. The french fries were great. The linguine in clam sauce was inedible and the chicken in the chicken tacos seemed like it was a few days old. I would go back for some fries and a few drinks.
