Mamoun's Falafel

Best Mediterranean food in Hoboken, fast and high-quality food. Specially their Chicken Kebob and Shawarma are two items to try along with Falafao and Baklava which are really popular. Now there is a two more counters where it can be ordered automatically through machine, so the waiting time to order is less.

Been going to Mamoun's and have been to all of their locations even a few that are closed now. I was going to Mamoun's the original location since they opened in the village in NYC. I live in NYC but shop in Jersey it is safer. This location is small but not as small as the original. And you can walk right in. It is the oldest falafel restaurant in New York and one of the first Middle Eastern establishments in the United States. What I like about this location are the drinks. They do not have these drinks in the city. They have a mint lemonade that my husband likes a lot and I like a blackberry juice that I LOVE! I looked on menu pages and they dont have it listed. But it is on Google. I am allergic to Tahini though I love it! So the meat is too dry for me. It doesnt seem as moist as the original location but I was not always allergic to Tahini and used to have it on my meat so maybe the sauce made the difference. All in all really great food prices and location =!
