Alma Nove

This restaurant was everything I expected to be., very very nice! We went on a Thursday and thankfully we could get in without reservation. I would advise though to make one cause it seemed pretty busy. They seated us pretty quick and the hostess was super nice. The waiter came right away and was very accommodating. The food came pretty quick and it was amazing and very well cooked. My favorite was the octopus. I had octopus at several places and this one was just perfect! The wood flavor was amazing! The oysters seemed a little dried, but the dessert was amazingly delicious. We liked the scenery very much and the decor. We were seated on a very private table and it felt was peaceful and pleasant. I can’t wait to go back!

My wife and I took her brother and his wife - they're visiting from out of town - to Alma Nove for dinner tonight. What a wonderful, wonderful time we had. Our waitress was a hoot - genuinely enjoys her job. They had beet salads, while I had the arugala salad. Fresh ingredients made every bite so tasty. Great way to start the meal. We got the riesling. Sweet, delicious choice. I don't usually drink, but this white wine I enjoyed both its smoothness and its pleasurable effects after just a few well-drawn sips. I like long pasta so I ordered the duck confit ragu pappardelle. I got over eating something that used to quack pretty quickly. It was so delectable, every mouthful. My brother-in-law gave me a bite of his beef tenderloin medallion. Mouth-wateringly delicious. The cube of meat I ate was seared just enough to be thoroughly enjoyed and not overwhelmed by. For dessert I ordered the bourbon banana bread pudding. It was worth the ten minute wait. Heavenly. They ordered the chocolate fudge cake. Delicious. Can't wait to go back!

There isn't enough stars on Google for this place. The ambiance, the staff, but most importantly the food was top notch! I flew in from California and took my mother n law for Mother's day. Thank you for one of the best dining experiences ever. It was my 1st Mother's day without my mother and having dinner at a restaurant that did such a fantastic job in all areas made my Mother's day a little better. ❤️

Frank and his staff were awesome. Excellent customer service from all. The restaurant is beautiful and the view of the water was nice. We came here for my wife's birthday lunch. We drove in from Maine because of the great things we have heard about this restaurant. It did not disappoint!! The food was amazing. We had mussels and calamari for appetizers. Both were exceptional. My daughter had a panni sandwhich which was really good. Wife had shrimp and risotto. She said it was the best she has ever had. My Korean chicken bowel was perfect. The creme bruelee that my wife had was perfect. Chocolate cake my daughter had was equally as good. We were truly impressed by the food, staff, and amazing experience we had. We will be back. Hopefully the next time we come back we can meet the owner Paul. We are fans of the Wahlburger's.

This place is great. It's right on the water and has plenty of out door seating to enjoy it. Inside, it has wonderful lighting during the evening hours for a couple to enjoy a lovely dinner. The food was fantastic. The grilled octopus, which is chewy most places I go to, was tender and was able to be cut apart with one bite. The sauce that accompanied it was delicious, sweet and tangy. I cannot speak to the oysters, but my wife seemed to enjoy them immensely. The lamb shank I had literally fell off the bone. It was an insult to the lamb that they gave me a steak knife with it. My wife's salmon was great as well. Not dry, not overly wet and was well seasoned. The asparagus she substituted the artichoke with was cooked all the way through without being too stringy. The service was great too as we a often a bit picky. But our waiter was very accommodating of our quirks. Overall, if I could give this a 6/5 I would.
