The ambiance and atmosphere is perfect for families with kids, super peaceful and accommodating. Beautiful view of the harbor!
But more importantly, the service was AMAZING! Service was excellent! We were beyond impressed. They were great with our kids, so patient and generous.

This is a great place to grab a bite. Although the menu is small there are lots of great options. The sword fish, Cuban sandwich and the crab cake are delicious. The flavor was so good. I also enjoyed the coleslaw which had ginger in it! Of course the hush puppies are yummy and the exact same ones from the Salty Dog. The down side is they are only open from 4pm-8pm. Such a gem of a place to hang out on the deck, have some very good food. The service was fantastic too. Kaitlyn was our server and she explained the menu to us very well, she provided great service. Even the manger greeted us and asked us about our meal. It’s hard these days to find great service and this place has great food and great service.

Fun place for a family outing, or a drink with friends. Nice view as well. They have made changes since I was last here. The inside is closed. Not sure for renovations or what. Also, the hours have been cut drastically. No lunchtime hours. Basically 4:00 - 9:00. So, not the same vibe as before.

Waitstaff was very friendly. The food was great! Only issue is the low country boil was a little over cooked. All in all, it was a great visit. Not often can you get MD old bat this far south of MD.

Great alternate to the main restaurant. My family visited on a summer weekday evening, and the main restaurant had a long line just to get on the list. I walked over to the Wreck and we walked right in, & sat on the patio. The menu is nearly the same and the atmosphere is really chill and low key - dining on the dock! We loved it and will surely visit again. Oh yeah, all the food was 👍🏼👍🏼

Came at closing time and we didn't know it. They seated our party of 8 anyway and couldn't be more gracious! The food was delicious and the service amazing. We will make this part of our vacay stops every year!

Very pricey. But you're paying for the name. Food was good though. Hush puppies are best on the island. On the kids menu they have a thing about "get a sticker if you clean your plate" - our waiter knew nothing about this. Our son waited around politely for a stinking sticker after actually eating all his food for once - when I realized the waiter was oblivious I just asked for a sticker. But still, had to go out of my way for something they advertised. Stupid as it may seem, that's big for a kid. But, like I said, food was good but pricey. Exact same menu as Salty Dog Cafe - consider this as an alternative if the wait at the main restaurant is too long.

We loved our meal here. The service was great and the food options were really unique. I had the Seafood Pot Pie and my wife had the veggie penne pasta with grilled shrimp. The Seafood Pot Pie had a wonderful flaky crust on top with a nice assortment of seafood underneath. The view here is really nice with large open windows overlooking the harbor and a comfortable atmosphere.

As it turns out there are actually two locations for the restaurant only a couple of hundred feet away. When we tried to check into the main one next to the patio deck we were told it was going to be a 1.5 wait. With the heat and all we didn't want to do that. By chance one of the grandkids thought he had seen a sign pointing a little more south of the main restaurant. It's not really well marked but there is a second location just south of the origanol around the little cove. We went in there and were immediately seated in a room all by ourselves. It would have been nice to have been given this option when we tried to check in the first time. Food wad good, service was good. From now on we'll head to this location first.

My family and I visit Hilton Head every summer and we make a point to eat here. The food is always delicious and the wait is never long, compared to the much more famous restaurant. Plus you can enjoy the wonderful kids' activities that are different every night. Recently we have done tie-dye shirts and hula hoop contests just outside in the courtyard which is steps away from the restaurant. Staff is always warm and welcoming, service quick and food fabulous. A MUST for a beautiful HH evening!
