My hubby found this spot & surprised me when we were on vacation. I had an amazing first time experience!
For starters, it is very clean. The owner is super friendly. And the products are amazing!
I couldn’t pick just one item, so I selected a Double Fudge Brownie, Scone, Chocolate Chip Cookie and Granola.
I was supposed to be eating the Brownie there, but tasted hubby’s Chocolate Cheesecake. That was a mistake for him, because I could not stop eating his!
That Cheesecake was the best! Next time, it will be at the top of my list!
It was very creamy, not overwhelmingly sweet or rich. The flavor profile was perfect!
The Granola made it home and we enjoyed it as a topping for Yogurt.
This is a must for our next visit to Hilton Head & I highly recommend it to gluten free lovers.
It is so refreshing to walk into a restaurant and not have to ask what is GF. What a great concept!!
There was also a great community vibe as all us patrons and owner talked with each other. It made the spot feel really cozy.
It is so difficult when traveling to find Celiac safe places. I am so glad we found the G-Free Spot! My son had so many choices to choose from and loved the cinnamon rolls. We stopped in 3 times on our visit to HHI.
Absolutely wonderful cafe. My wife and daughter were so happy to find this. Gluten intolerance is not fun, so needless to say, this cafe was so much fun for them.
We ordered lemon bars, red velvet & carrot cupcakes. The coffee and cappuccino were also great. The staff behind the counter was courteous and helpful with the selections.
This is overall a great bakery and cafe. Even if you aren’t gluten intolerant or living gluten free you should stop here, it is great place.
I never thought I'd be able to eat a delicious not weird textured cinnamon roll again until I had one from here! I couldn't believe it was GF! So good warmed. They ship all over so thank goodness because I'll be able to enjoy more than just once a year!!!! Husband got a red velvet whoopie pie and loved how light it was rather than the traditional super cakey ones. Thanks G-Free Spot for making our vaca a little bit sweeter :)

For the first time in several years, I walked into a bakery and could have anything with no fear of being sick from contamination or allergens. It was such a change from my normal experience in bakeries/cafes that I actually started crying on my way to the car with my pumpkin roll and cinnamon roll. The first time I'd had either in years. People have no idea what it's like to live with food intolerances and allergies. Bless the owner. The cinnamon roll and pumpkin roll were DELICIOUS.
Great spot with delicious gluten free goodies! Had a breakfast sandwich and took home a cinnamon roll, key lime tart, lemon bar, and slice of cheesecake. All were simply delectable. The staff was very friendly in helping us make our choices. Must visit spot for anyone, gluten free or not!
Absolutely amazing! I have celiacs as well as a wheat and potato allergy. The staff were knowledgeable, accommodating, and friendly. We’re staying in Beaufort SC for the week and will be making the 1hr drive again before we leave just to go here. The food was absolutely delicious and I was blown away by everything from the food to the atmosphere and cleanliness of the restaurant. Hands down the best place I’ve ever been to! Plus, they ship some of their baked goods so I’ll be able to order a sweet treat for my birthday even though we live 5hrs away!! Thank you to everyone at The g-free spot for giving me and my family a wonderful experience!!
My family and I LOVED this classy little shop that we found on google. We have 3 gluten free people in our family and 1 who’s not. We all loved our food. The GF bagels we ordered were softer than normal bagels. Their breakfast was the best food we had our entire trip. We usually eat at the Serg Group sister restaurants because they’ve always been amazing, but unfortunately this time it was all just substandard. However, on our way out of town, we found this little gem! The owner was so sweet and accommodating to all of our needs, she gave the best service we had all weekend. I was so impressed! We’re lucky that she ships her GF goodies! I highly recommend this place to anyone, but especially to the gluten free dieters! My daughter said the icing was the “BEST ICING EVER” 😊
We ordered a small wedding cake from the G Free spot and it was delicious!! We will definitely be ordering from them again!
BLT on gluten-free sourdough bread was pricey but delicious. The cinnamon rolls are also very good. Very large selection of gluten-free deliciousness! Cheesecakes, brownies, cookies, cinnamon rolls, pizza roll ups, cakes cupcakes. There were 2 ladies working there they day I went, luckily I got the friendlier of the two.
