We were looking for a new breakfast diner and will be returning again this week. Food arrived quickly and was excellent! The breakfast sub tasted just like what we used to get from the authentic cheesesteak carts in Philly even down to the soft, chewy roll.

Like trying local places often not as busy but food was good. Bit different with paper plates but they knew how to fry a good egg. You can tell the locals know about it looked like lots of take out orders too.

Great Diner! Looks can be deceiving because this place is definitely a hidden gem! These kind of places are the best. Because they don't pump money into the decor. It's quality ingredients, food made with love, and friendly service delivered with a smile by the cutest little Columbia lady.
Wife had the egg and cheese platter (2 eggs scrambled with hash browns and toast). She went with the suggestion of cheddar and mozzarella and was surprisingly delighted. I had the "Eggs your way" which is similar to my usual Waffle House order, but I enjoyed it so much more!
Prices are better than the resorts, and the atmosphere is super relaxed. I'm so glad we came here. My wife and I are definitely coming back next time we're in Hilton Head.

Ray's Cafe is one of our all time favorite places to eat and we make sure to visit at least once every trip we make to Hilton Head. The place isn't fancy although it is very clean, the service friendly and efficient and the food is delicious! Highly recommend the breakfast sub with sausage or the pecan pancakes!
