We are here now! And I must say EVERYTHING & EVERYONE is great! We are now finished with our meal and it was delicious! We had the Fried Grouper Sandwich, Loaded Pulled Pork Nachos, Pep Pizza, and Bacon Cheeseburger Sliders!! Our server Xavier was such a delight! He was nice and personable! We will return!
My family and I went to Big Jim’s for dinner and enjoyed the experience outside on the patio looking out onto the golf course. Great service! Servers were positive and personable! It’s a kid-friendly place to go! Thank you to those working at Big Jim’s!
Pretty good service. Each coffee costs, no refills. Nice view of golfing. Food ok but not great.
OMG this place is awesome. WENDY IS AWESOME! She remembers my order every time. Everyone is great and the food is good as well. The Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich is very tasty as is the Prime Rib Sandwich and the fries are crispy. Definitely is a Gem on the island 🏝
We had a fantastic time at Big Jim's! Big Jim's accommodated our welcome drinks during our wedding week for all of our family and friends to come together on the first night everyone was in Hilton Head for the wedding. They served wonderful drinks quickly and the food was terrific with a wide variety of options on the menu. The service was top notch and they were very welcoming to us. Our guests also loved Big Jim's for the beautiful golf course view and back porch that the restaurant offers. Highly recommend Big Jim's!
I ordered from the catering menu for a party. The service was outstanding, Michael attended to every detail. He made ordering a breeze, offered helpful suggestions, and was flexible when I had to change the time of pickup. The food was delicious! everyone raved about the ribs and the pulled pork. All sides were great, as well. Everything was needed (plates, plasticware, etc.) and the best sauces ever!
Sometimes I place really deserves IN BETWEEN 4 AND 5 stars and this place would be it. My wife raved about the po-boy, and my daughter seemed to like the fried pickle spears. The barbecue pork egg rolls were decent, but I have to say the grilled grouper sandwich was absolutely delicious. A nice spot to get a quick decent meal.
OMG! Our server was s awesome! She was very nice, efficient and cheerful! Really made the whole evening great! The food was really good! Definitely didn't go away hungry! And my meal, pulled pork, so juicy and flavorful! Great place!!
Big Jim's is great for a casual meal. The scenery is beautiful, overlooking the 18th hole of the lovely golf course, with outdoor and indoor seating. It's a great dining option for those staying in Palmetto Dunes - very walkable - and is open to anyone as it is located before the gates. Recommend the patty melt, BLT, pizzas. Simple but good breakfast options, and they generally don't seem to be crowded for breakfast like many restaurants on the island. The only minor areas of opportunity: could use a more extensive/better draught beer selection, and like many restaurants currently, could use more wait staff and probably kitchen staff, so the service is a slow. But the servers are very friendly and accommodating.
We came on a Sunday night with a group of nine. Sat at a great table outside. Our server was great, thanks Emily!!! Food was delicious, Turkey BLT was fantastic and presentation was really nice!!
