Our family group was impressed by the fried shrimp basket and fresh-cut fries. Grilled fish tacos were good but marred by atypical fried flour tortillas; warmed corn tortillas generally superior. A traditional lime wedge with the tacos would also help. Looking forward to trying a fish sandwich next
Not easy to see from the road, this food truck is a hidden gem. We had the shrimp tacos and the shrimp basket with fries, everything was top notch.
The tacos were probably the best one I ever had, everything was cooked to perfection.
It is a bit pricey, but totally worth it.

Make sure you stop here before leaving town. Simple menu, wonderful people, amazing food! We ate at several highly rated places ($30-60 per person) for dinner and Mullets was our favorite meal out of all them. We liked it so much we went back again. I will be craving the tacos and fish sandwich.

We had the fried grouper sandwich and blackened grouper tacos. Both some of the best we’ve ever had. Seriously the best quick service seafood on the island right now.
Just understand it’s a food truck and seating is 100% outside.
The BEST grouper sandwich I have ever had and everything is fresh and homemade. Family owned and run and the people are second to none. It’s a very relaxed environment and if you’re there for dinner you can see a beautiful sunset over the marsh. Highly recommend and will be back!
Let me start by saying I would come back to HHI JUST for Mullets Food truck! We have eaten at several over priced eateries here and been less than wowed by the food. Mullet’s had food so good it will make you cry from joy. Can’t say enough good things- you just need to try it. I had the jerk chicken
My new favorite restaurant on the island! Scenic, rustic, and homey with excellent service. Everyone is so friendly and the food is to die for. Seriously, I haven't stopped thinking about their shrimp tacos for days!!
Honestly hands down one of the best places I've eaten at. I had a grouper sandwich and fries. The food wasn't just excellent but the environment too. All and all, Mullet's was a refreshing experience for someone out of town. It's one of a kind.
Stopped at Barnicle Bill's and low and behold there's a food truck named Mullets sitting behind it. Ordered 3 different tacos....wahoo, shrimp and ahi tuna. All were worth going back again. Also tried the fresh shrimp basket (fried) with the best homemade shoestring fries. Everything was terrific!
Awesome food friendly service - a real hidden secret on the island. We tried the jamerican jerk truck this time, but it's all good. And Cornhole for the kids and waterside stroll for the grown ups. Highly recommended!
I am on the island, so, since I own a food truck myself thought to search out one to see where they are. Well, not for from my home here, a couple blocks like. These ladies are doing a great job and look forward to stopping by as much as possible to enjoy the roots from Jamaican / American good food
Exactly what I was looking for in our first night in Hilton Head. Some yummy fresh fried fish and amazing veggies! Plus they even accommodated me needing a kids size fried fish for my 4 year old ❤ definitely worth the stop!
The food here is great! Nothing fancy at all but the flavors are to die for! I got a fish taco and my husband fried shrimps we both loved our food
Thank goodness we finally stumbled upon Mullets. The food was excellent and the atmosphere/setting on the water is a perfect way to end your day. Definitely a place to take your family and let the kids run around. Just bring your bug spray...We will be back next time we're in HHI.

Excellent tacos. Fresh fish and the cilantro cream sauce was awesome. Their fries are the way fries should all be made.
