Wow! These are the BEST donuts around. They are cake and not fried like other donut places. Because they are cake, they will last up to 5 days on the counter (trust me, they will be gone before 5 days are up). They are warm when you get them and leftovers can be microwaved for 15 seconds to warm them up again. (Any longer and the icing will melt.) They have amazing flavors and you can also custom-order any combination of available flavors. They make your order on demand, so it's definitely not a grab-and-go place. But it's worth the wait.
Visited Duck Donuts this morning. We ordered two dozen donuts and took advantage of the different toppings and drizzles available. The donuts are delicious, but pretty heavy, so you don’t need too many. The maple bacon was my personal favorite. We ordered at the counter and then waited about 15 minutes bc they make them fresh. They also offer amazing looking coffee beverages. The people working there were very nice. Ordering online is also an option and there’s an online order pickup area. There is a couple tables inside and a small area to sit outside.
We had the most amazing time at the Hilton Head Duck Donuts today! The staff were mostly very polite teenage boys and the owner came to our table and chit-chatted with us for a while too! The donuts were exceptional and the fun drinks were amazing! We had a cookies and cream frappe, caramel milkshake and strawberry lemonade. We recommend them all! It started my daughter’s birthday weekend in such a special way! Thank you Duck Donuts!!!
If you're in the area and have a sweet tooth, please pick a day to stop in here and try their donuts! I'm quite picky when it comes to cake donuts but these are the best I've ever had. I'm from Michigan where we have plenty of cider mills who also serve donuts. I feel very confident in my opinion of this donut shop. They are made fresh every day and you can watch them come off the belt, into the shaker and then watch the employees glaze and top each one. Simply delicious! 😋
The best donuts we’ve ever had! Also super fast service. The coffee cake donut was like a funnel cake and coffee cake mixed together and it was heavenly!
My family had an amazing experience at the Duck Donuts in Hilton Head, SC! The staff were all so friendly, going above and beyond to make our experience phenomenal! They even gave us a free donut when we first arrived. It was absolutely wonderful and the donuts were so good! The best donuts I’ve ever tasted, by far! We will definitely be going again next time we find ourselves on the island.

We first discovered Duck Donuts a couple of years ago during a family vacation in North Carolina. We spent sometime in the Outer Banks area and experienced our first Duck Donuts.
We were excited to discover Hilton Head Island has a Duck Donuts, so we planned a couple of trips to this store during our family vacation.
We love that the donuts are made to order and are served up hot and fresh and you customize the topping added to your donut order. While they only offer a standard cake donut as the base of the order, there are a multitude of icing glazes and toppings which can be added to your donut.
It's interesting to watch your donut be fried, glazed, and topped right before your eyes (if you chose to watch). There is nothing like eating your customized donut right out of the fryer, hot and fresh! Of course, the store also boxes up your donuts for carry-out if you wish to grab them an go.
I ordered a cake donut with lemon frosting glaze, Oreo cookie crumbles, and a raspberry drizzle. Supper delicious and I almost guarantee you will want to lick the excess frosting from the box which they are packaged into.
This is the best place for donuts and coffee. Honestly, if the donuts sucked, the coffee alone would be worth coming back. Thankfully, the donuts are delicious and don’t suck, so just come try all of it.

My daughter and I biked here from our condo for a mother-daughter outing. The staff was amazing, the donuts were absolutely out of this world! The best part? For as sweet as they look, that aren’t TOO sweet. They are best when fresh, but we took back a few for family members and they really enjoyed them later as well.
