Street Meet’s atmosphere is Cleveland. The bar seems local. The feel is blue collar. The food is very good. There are a few menu items related to the Land, of course pierogis but with a southern twist. There is a wonderful, just beautiful, fat head Nick Chubb on a window. A must for NE Ohioans.
Very relaxed atmosphere that I surprisingly liked. Had a couple different people help us but it worked & they were friendly. No complaints except for maybe a sign that says “seat yourself” as we & a couple other people we noticed coming in afterward, were also a bit confused
Out (From Indiana) traveling beaches from Florida to here & we couldn't of found a better gem! First and foremost the service is outstanding, Chelsea was amazing 👏 the food was delicious 😋 literally the BEST FOOD, SERVICE, ATMOSPHERE AND EVEN PRICING. Pics follow; chicken tenders/fries, The Pittsburgh burger (the burger withegg)/fries & The Jerome burger/fries.
We finally decided to stop by for lunch and found it was good. Excellent server Gigi made our experience even better. Again, good food, ice cold drinks and a super server. Will be back to try other items on the menu.
We tried Street Meet The American Tavern for the first time on our first night and it did not dissapoint! Shared the hot pretzel with cheese sauce for an appetizer. I had a veggie burger - it was actually for real homemade (not an Impossible/Beyond/etc. burger) and it was fantastic. Got the homemade onion rings as my side and I piled some on top of the burger. Hubby got the Turkey Jones which was a big sandwich with turkey, bacon, swiss, fries and gravy - also with the homemade onion rings for the side. And my 6 year old had a corn dog with potato chips, which wound up costing a whopping 50 cents because on Saturdays they have kids pay what they weigh - how fun is that! The names of items on their kids menu just cracks me up also (which is honestly what drew me to this place in the first place 🤣). And while we’re not from Ohio (I know, shocker) I can say that the decor is fun and the OH-HHI-O Bar tshirt they sell is super clever. Really great friendly service also. We chose to sit outside and were seated immediately at about 6 pm. We will certainly be back next year!
Arriving to HH on a Sunday evening, my family and I stopped in here for dinner after a long day of traveling - and what a good surprise it was. It was so good that we came back a second time on Wednesday. Some of our favorites were the soul fries (you gotta try them!), the Thai chili wings, and the fried shrimp. One thing that really surprised us was just how nice the batter was on the fried shrimp - it was so good that we ordered it during both dinners. Service was prompt and the staff was always friendly to interact with. We’ll definitely be returning!
Stopped in at this local spot and it did not disappoint. It's a awesome restaurant with a awesome vibe. If you're ever down that way make sure to stop in and grab a bite to eat. The food was great and so was the service with great hospitality.
My son and I arrived in town for a boy's bonding birthday trip. Wanted a comfortable, casual place for the first night so we tried Street Meet. Awesome all around! Great service and fantastic food. Award-winning wings absolutely lived up to the hype.
Found this place on our last night in town--we loved it!! Our waiter was very accommodating and the food was delicious. We will go here early in our stay next time we're on the Island.
We stopped here on a Thursday evening around 7:30pm. The manager/host seated us inside but there were tables outside as well. Our waitress, Zoey, was absolutely wonderful! She was very kind and conversational and even took the time to talk with our son about his book and the importance of reading. She wasn't in a rush to turn the table and really made us feel welcome. (She's apparently the owner's daughter but we didn't find that out until after dinner when we asked for a manager to compliment her.) The outside of this place looked like they may be closed but the inside was fun and vibrant with cool graffiti artwork. The menu had a lot of variety from wings, to salads, burgers, etc and even a healthy menu with quinoa bowls and such. We ordered a soft pretzel with cheese sauce for an appetizer and it was hot and delicious. Hubby ordered a burger that had egg, slaw, etc. He said it was good and loved his fries too. Our son ordered a kid's cheeseburger and upgraded to fries and he enjoyed the burger. I ordered the chicken sliders as my meal and a side salad with the house ranch which was tasty. The food came out very quickly even though they had a full house inside. We all enjoyed our food. The service was incredible. The whole team was really hustling from the gentleman that brought out our food and helped clearing our table, to our waitress Zoe. You could also tell that the team all got along really well which is rare these days. We will be back next time we visit HHI for sure!
