This ice cream shop has a wide variety of tasty and creamy ice cream choices. The staff were very friendly and quick. We enjoyed it so much, we came here twice on our vacation. The only tables and chairs are located outdoors. I would recommend this place to others.

Some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had. I love the Oreo ice cream! Pro tip: Buy a pint or quart and take back to you condo if you have a freezer for on demand ice cream. (Might need to invest in an ice cream scoop or bring one with you on vacation.)

First of all, tons of flavors. Delicious, creamy, so good! Second, SO allergy friendly. We have a son with egg and peanut allergies and they had ALL flavors listed with egg, dairy, nut and gluten allergies- SO impressed!
Finally, nice sitting area outside! Will be our go to spot!

They have my favorite, mint chocolate chip, and it's the best I've ever had. The ice cream is so creamy, and the minty flavor with the little chocolate chips is like a party in my mouth! 🍦🍫
The people who work here are super nice, and they always give me a big scoop with a smile. And guess what? They even have cool toppings! 🍨🍬
I love coming here, and I think you will too. If you like ice cream, especially mint chocolate chip like me, you HAVE to try this place. It's the best in the world! 😋🌍

Amazing!! Kids can vouch for Superman & Cookie Dough. My wife & I can vouch for Mint Oreo, Toasted Coconut, & Road Road. Ice Cream was creamy with good flavor. Though it was hot, the ice cream stayed fairly frozen as we enjoyed it.
Prices are a bit high & we were there four times in five days. The last night wasn’t planned but who doesn’t like ice cream after mini golf. If you go at night, be prepared to wait a bit. Even if the lines out the door, wait is less than 15 minutes.

My GPS was confusing to use in finding this place but I’m glad I persisted and located it. Hilton Head business signs are very “muted” to not distract from the environment. No giant signs signaling “here we are”. That said…Hilton Head Ice Cream was fantastic! First the employees were all candidates for employee of the year. There were three and helpful, engaging but not overbearing…just great kids doing the best they could. There was an amazing selection of ice cream and sorbet. I asked if they had lemon custard…it was advertised but not displayed in the cases. The young man said “ wait a minute I think there might be a new carton in the freezer”. Off he goes while the two young ladies, my wife and I watch a baby raccoon scamper around the front door. I know nothing to do with ice cream but it was fun. The guy comes back with a fresh carton of lemon custard. I am a fan of lemon custard. Wild about Harry’s in Dallas had Milwaukee style custard that was awesome. This was better. My wife had a strawberry sorbet that she said was delicious. We had a great dessert, met some very nice kids that worked there ( the place was spotless) and watched a baby raccoon. I hope your visit is as entertaining and delicious.

Great ice cream shop with homemade ice cream! They hand dip the cones to order. I had the caramel brownie and Oreo flavors in a chocolate dipped cone. Loved both flavors! Lots of chunks of cookies and brownies in both.

This is a great local ice cream shop. They have a lot of flavor options including the usual and some more unique flavor combinations. They give a large portion for the size! It is a little pricey, but again you get a lot of ice cream! In the pictures here, these are an adult 'small' which has two scoops of ice cream.
The staff members were very friendly and patient.
There is outdoor and indoor seating.
The ice cream is yummy, with a fluffed or whipped texture. That was new and different for us, but we still enjoyed it!

This place opened in 1982. I first visited as a kid in 1984. In 2021 its better than I remembered! The line will be long and there are cheaper options for ice cream on the island, but this is seriously good ice cream! Worth the wait. Worth the price!

Worth every minute! This is by far some of the best ice cream I’ve had. Creamy and just right, not overly sweet yet plenty of flavor. It is just amazing. Went back a second night and stood in line again because it is worth any wait. Very courteous staff too! I had Praline which was out of this world delicious. And be advised, a Small is two generous scoops.

Driving by I seen the line outside across the front of building. I asked my girlfriend find out what that place was! It was Hilton head homemade Ice cream. I'm still at the bar around the corner. So I haven't tried it yet but I can't wait until I get back to the apartment here in a bit. I'll update when I do.

Hands down, best ice cream on Hilton Head Island! I got two scoops in a waffle cone and wow, it didn't disappoint. I highly recommend the seasonal pumpkin and the salted caramel--a winning combo! This ice cream was super flavorful and a great creamy consistency--thick but not a chewy texture (like Frozen Moo). Only one staff member when they opened at 2 and she already had a line of 10+ people, yet was still friendly, didn't make people feel rushed, and gave great service. Prices are consistent with other ice cream places on HHI. Would definitely visit here again!

Delicious ice cream joint in Hilton Head - a must try if you’re in the area. The line is usually long but moves quick. Cookie Monster is a fan favorite but ⚠️ WARNING! ⚠️ it stains your mouth/face blue. So, don’t plan on going anywhere fancy afterwards :) Nice portions and wide variety. Go, you won’t be disappointed!

The ice cream is fabulous but the place is tight inside! The place gets packed with families and people so it can get a little tight ordering but the ice cream is always tasty and the portions are generous. The ice cream with the chocolate chips are the best because the chips are huge and so fun to eat! The watermelon chip and the peanut butter chip are some of my favorites. They have a small label on the door that says, "Please keep closed" but they need to make it bigger. People are constantly holding the door open thinking it will help them get to the front faster.
I wish they would open another place to help aid in it not being so crowded.

Ice cream was great. My only thing is that staff stick to your bowls. If someone orders a medium cup, make sure staff grabs that cup. This will help with checking out so the person checking out is not have to guess if someone got a medium, but was put in large cup. Really😑. Just stick to your cups sizes. Do not say oh I did it to accommodate whip cream, it sits on top it does not take up that much room. But other than that the ice cream is great. Staff was good, but still think that should all stick to the cup sizes you have set only.
