Let me start off by saying that all the food was more than excellent and the service, even better. Our waiter was amazing. He explained everything including the tomato basil purée, which was so good. The steak was cooked to perfection. The seafood my wife had was the best we had ever. Highly recommend this place as the best food on the island. Thank you!!
Amazing experience with great food and service. My husband and I dined here for our anniversary this week. We may have been the youngest people taking advantage of the early bird special menu but it was worth it. Perfect portion for an early dinner! I love the filet and crab together! Also be sure to try the flour less chocolate dessert! Yummy!
I am an annual visitor to Hilton Head and have come to Wise Guys a few times in the past. Tonight our party enjoyed items off the specialty menu which were recommended to us by our server Tanner. We enjoyed the Beef Wellington and Wagyu New York Strip both were incredible. Our server Tanner was extremely knowledgeable on the menu items giving recommendations and explaining everything included in the items in great detail. Tanner never rushed us and gave us plenty of time to review the menu and enjoy our evening. What a great night!
OMG...better than I could have ever imagined! We were celebrating my husband's birthday, so I wanted a special place. The reviews were great, so I made reservations. We were about 20 -30 minutes early, but they were able to still seat us immediately! We had a large party, 14; they sat us in a private room! Not at all what I expected, but definitely a nice surprise. The room, oh the room...had a nice atmosphere and we did not have to worry about disturbing others with such a large group, with small children. The servers were attentive to our needs and the food came in a timely manner. The portion sizes were decent compared to the prices and no one complained about taste! We had a great time in our own little space with family, food, drinks, laughter, and conversation! A definite add to our list of go to restaurants. Stop reading andake your reservation.
This restaurant is such a hidden gem! I wasn't expecting to find such a cozy steakhouse on the island.
All of the food was absolutely delicious. We tried Carpaccio, Fried Burrata, Duck Egg Rolls, Short Rib Lasagna, Short Rib Dinner, Gyro Pizza, Asiago Gnocchi, Swordfish, and bread pudding.
We took the bread pudding to go, and it was still delicious a few hours later. I bet it would have been perfect served warm at the restaurant.
My only nitpick about this place is that for the price point and the atmosphere, they didn't meet expectations about service. Our server was incredibly friendly and helpful about the menu, but didn't refill our water, never cleared dirty plates (by the time we got our entrees we had a stack of dirty bread and appetizer plates just sitting in the center of the table taking up space) and they gave us cheap styrofoam to-go containers that they just dropped off at the table when we asked to have our food packed.
Food and wait staff was excellent! Steak was fantastic! This was not our first visit and won't be our last. Only complaint was the attitude of the hostess! When we arrived here statement was "what are you here for?". When we responded that we were there for dinner she rudely said do you have a reservation which we did have! For some reason she actually seemed disappointed that we indeed had a reservation!
Limoncello martini citrus and sweet. The meatloaf gravy was one of the best! Mashed potatoes? Buttery deliciousness. We also has the lasagna, which was really good but not my fave. Now for dessert…save your appetite for the largest portion of bread pudding with ice cream. The server Cecilia explained things kindly and gave us our space for convo but always ready to check in. Can’t wait to come back and try their steaks.
The experience was amazing all the way around! DJ our waiter was knowledgeable, friendly, and had great recommendations! The food was amazing! Full of flavor! The drinks were delicious and strong! The restaurant itself was beautiful and the vibe was perfect for our vacation! This was the best food we had on the whole trip! Will definitely be back!

Update November 2023: Still amazing food. Still amazing service. Still our go to for a really fine experience.
First things first. Our server Michael was exceptional. He was attentive, funny, and had a great personality. He really made the whole evening better. The rest of the staff that helped us we very friendly as well.
The food is excellent. My table had the meatloaf (flavorful and melts in your mouth), braised short ribs (tender comfort food), Delmonico (can't go wrong with steak), and stuffed chicken (loads of flavor, very tender). Everything was amazing, came out hot, and had so much flavor.
Prices for the the quality and quantity of food are fair for HHI and I would absolutely make this a go to restaurant when we're on the island.
The atmosphere is modern and the decor is well done. The restaurant is a little dark but certainly not too much so. A nice overall place to be.
This is a must try (multiple times) if you're in the area. The worst part is trying to decide what to get on the menu. So many great options.
My first time at Wiseguys was this past Friday night. I went here with some friends after a local event. I have heard so many people rave about this place and always wanted to try it. It did not disappoint. The food was excellent and our waitress was very attentive and friendly. We are already looking forward to returning to try more dishes from the menu. In addition, we had a couple of their specialty cocktails which were really enjoyable too.
We ate here on Monday night while visiting the island over Memorial Day weekend. We sat outside in a cozy environment and our waitress was warm and friendly.
We LOVED the food here. The shrimp & crab wonton appetizer was amazing and the muscle appetizer was also delicious. The steak entree was great, but holy cow, the potatoes that came with it - which arrived in a mini cast iron dish - was our favorite part of the meal. To be fair, I've never met a potato dish I haven't liked, but this one was by far one of my favorite potato side dishes ever! So good. The creme brulee flight was also one of my favorite desserts in a long time!
Along with our waitress, we also spoke with a friendly bus boy and manager so our overall impression of the staff was that everyone was warm and professional. Definitely recommend this restaurant!
This place was amazing. Recommend that you make a reservation. The lemon drop was so good. Small plate: lobster rangoon, I got the salmon with shrimp and vegetable farro and, he got the meatloaf with green beans and mashed potatoes. They also bring you bread with olive oil and mashed tomatoes. We got the creme brulee flight. This meal was so amazing and the atmosphere was awesome.
