The food was really good here and fresh! The prices aren't bad either for the quality. Luckily when I went it wasn't too busy. I can definitely see there being a wait on a busy day. The Carne asada steak taco was delectable. I would definitely eat here again.

Amazing carnitas and chorizo tacos! Try the red sauce, has a nice kick to it. Flavorful meat cooked just right. It was so good the first time, we came back the next day for lunch. With so many restaurant choices, the food quality and service stand out for a repeat visit on a short trip. Very friendly, genuinely nice people work here - the icing on the cake!

The three taco plate was unbelievable! We got a spicy carnitas, carnitas, and chorizo, rice beans, and soft drink for 15 bucks. The staff was so nice and pleasant!

Delicious Mexican food for a fair price. We went in for a quick lunch and were surprised by the amount of vegetarian options. The menu options can easily be uniquely configured to include various types of meat or tofu as well as additional sauce. The food was speedily brought to our table and the service was friendly. Would definitely eat here again!

WOW! A wonderful place for authentic Mexican food! We sampled a little of everything and it was all great! Healthy meals at a great price! For those wanting to eat healthier these meals are not fried! Everyone was very pleasant and professional. The inside is very clean. Located in downtown Hilo and a hub of variety of restaurants from all over the world. Parking is on the opposite side of the main street entrance. If you are in the Hilo area stop by Amigo's Taqueria!

Got tacos from here the other nigh, 3/10/22, before heading back to Kona. Got carne, pollo, and carnitas. Everyone in the car said the tacos were great. I ate mine 1.5 hours later and they were great. Price was good and order came out in a timely manner. Great job.

Amigos has expanded their restaurant and now has a bar with Karaoke.
I celebrated my birthday there yesterday. Everybody had a blast. The food is incredibly delicious & authentic. Monica & her husband are an amAzing team!! Viva Mexican Food!!❣️🌴❣️
