Had a great time last night. We arrived early to beat the crowd and had little competition for the helpful staff. The food and drinks were excellent and the space was clean and modern. It was like visiting a Honolulu or Bay Area lounge. We will visit again.
This place was very cool! We had the ribs and the clams in broth. The menu changes every day! The place is hip with very warm professional service.

Chapter 27 brings a whole new vibe to Hilo. A comfortable, sophisticated style with great drinks (lilikoi/gin martini - very good) and excellent staff. And did I mention the food? Beautiful and delicious. Everything just works.
Came here with my hubby to celebrate our Saturday night on the Big Island. I love Big Island, especially Hilo side, and now I found my favorite bar in Hilo too! Great selection of alcohol, good music, and laid back atmosphere complimented by the contemporary decor and nice staff made my Saturday night great. Someone has recommended this place for good food, but by the time we arrived, around 11:00 pm, the kitchen, I guess was already closed. Will have to come back and try it during the day. This is a definitely a place to came
and hang our with your friends.
Attended a private here. Not a large space but perfect for small parties. Bathrooms are inside & clean. Good amount of tables with kitchen space for food. Good amount of parking. Very enjoyable atomsphere.
Located in the heart of Hilo, this place is an oasis of fun. I loved the modern decor. A combination of industrial style, with black and white geometrical shapes. Simple, yet classy. Someone who designed this place had a great sense of style. The crew working there on this Saturday night was great. Nice, the bartender served us our drinks with a smile. The waitress was attentive too. They had a DJ on this Saturday night, and the selection of music was great.
This time was a lot more fun than last time. It was crowded! I came with a group of women celebrating a birthday. We were loud, we danced, it was lots of fun. My dirty martini was good. The server was really sweet and did a great job. A DJ came on around 11. The music reminded us all of our middle school years (we are that old 🙈)
Bartender is awesome super friendly ventured in with a friend from Maui. First time attending happy hour great conversation. Steak was very well cooked must try. Not a bad price pretty upscale which is nice than all of these holes in the wall spots. Will be back !!
Some sort of happy hour pretty much every day, everyday with its own theme... Fridays and Saturdays are open until 3:30 am. Which is awesome if you're visiting Hilo and want to experience the nightlife, or work in the service industry, you just want to grab few drinks or dance after you get off work. Since it's the only bar open that late
Every time I come here, there's never a dull quiet moment. Great place for small private parties, drinks are always amazing as well as the food. Great service, positive atmosphere. If you have a small company id recommend you coming here or just a individual looking for a chill hangout spot to drink. come check it out!
Interesting new bar! Different, more urban vibe. Definitely popular with young locals. Everyone is usually dressed up in cocktail attire, and they have some seafood appetizers that look interesting, but no carbs or finger food. There's not much room to dance, and no room for a band, so you will only get dj's here.
I really enjoy going to Chapter 27. The workers are friendly and they have alot of respect. I would love to tell everyone that I know to go to Chapter 27 if they want to hang out and have fun. But, I really love Chapter 27 it's so relaxing and the music are great and the bartenders and the bouncers are awesome.
