Stumbled into this place at the Sunday Makuu Farmers Market and couldn't decide if I wanted the crispy local organic burger for $8, the hot dog or Polish dog for $6. Had both and they were awesome. Owners and preparation areas are extremely clean. They have so many toppings for your burger / hot dog that they pile on. It is definitely worth a visit and may become my "go to" place for burgers, because they have a storefront in Hilo. Thanks for a great Sunday Morning Lunch at the Market!

This is my favorite place to get any kind hot dog. They're creativity is light-years beyond the competition. The ingredients are fresh and you can really tell the difference. All the way down to the buns each item has taken careful consideration to the products used.

My husband & I found this gem while searching for food around the area! The owner was very friendly & started conversation with us while we were waiting for our food! We are from Indiana on our honeymoon & I can say this was the best hot dog I’ve ever had! The breakfast was also amazing! All around amazing place! Highly recommend!

So dang good! My husband and I shared the pocho and the Korean drama Portuguese sausages with lilikoi lemonade. Not only is the food fantastic the service is as well. They're so friendly!

Extensive and super creative menu. Large portions. Amazing flavors. Specialty drinks in addition to regular sodas/ water. Very impressed with it. No lines/wait list like most of the places close to Hilo hotels. Nice staff and short wait. Will definitely come back before I fly back home. Also, the pack your food in compostable containers which I really appreciate. Eat local.

Who doesn’t love a great hot dog? In addition to locally made sausages and custom sauces and toppings, they also have daily specials that are homemade and delicious. This is a must stop when visiting Hilo, or just looking for an island made meal.

Some of the best tasty hotdogs and burgers in Hilo. We visit this establishment at least once a month to get our fix. Great friendly service with a smile and always in a timely manner. Every time we visit try something different on the menu. We have yet to be disappointed. Definitely a must for all hotdog and burger lovers!!!

A truely epic hot dog. We dropped by for lunch today and had a dawgzilla and a custom built dog. Both were excellent. For around $9 they are covered in toppings and with a good sausage. They are of the tourist map a ways and only open for lunch, but it's worth the 5 minute diversion to visit.

Had a delightful lunch from here. My girlfriend gave her seal of approval for their veggie burger and soy dog which is wonderful for me as finding a place to eat for both of us is tough. I had the loco moco plate which was super satisfying and an order of large fries. What makes Top Dogs stand out for me is the large sauce list they have. There were close to ten different sauces with classics like ketchup and mayo as well as some more unique choices. My girlfriend loved the wasabi aoli and for me dipping fries in the garlic aoli is pure bliss! Only downside is they close after the lunch rush around 3. Overall great place 👍
