Island Naturals Market & Deli's ambiance is organically cool. The produce is au naturel and the variety of global and local products keeps me coming back with a hippie-dippy smile. The service is causally friendly and helpful with a smile.
I'm particularly fond of their chocolate, baking aisle. Everything from GF pizza flour to finding the fundamentals of a good honest chocolate souffle. Mahalo.
I'm so grateful to have such a great health food store in the neighborhood. Ernie is very knowledgeable with the supplements. Everyone is kind and helpful. Great folks - good service - excellent produce and prepared food - extensive selection- just big enuf.
I absolutely love this store. Employees are helpful, great bulk & cheese selection, although I wish they made a flaked asiago, Parm, Romano blend, ready to eat products are plentiful and the store is always clean. The ONLY store on the Hilo side of the island I've been able to find radicchio and the woman at produce says she gets it every week. I'm STOKED! Most every produce department employees at other stores have no idea what it even is.
Great selection of prepared foods and organic goodies. Lots of hard to find food, vitamins and other items from the mainland. Love the vibe of this place. The staff is super helpful!!
You can find great herbs, teas, same product different brands, fresh. Organic, good local products also, gifts with local motives, natural medicines. Poultry, meat, fish, local eggs.Frozen products an food just made. Good for take out, Breakfasts, lunches, early dinners. Close around 8pm. Big parking lot. Prices are not in the inexpensive side. Some discounts for seniors and students. They also sell wine.
Great place for natural organic products. 20% of alcohol Fridays. Don't forget the famous lilikoi cheesecake! The vegan chocolate cake is a winner!!! Carrot cake is amazing! And appreciation day 2nd Sunday of the month.
My daughter took me here while visiting Big Island. This place is great if you eating organic whole food.
This is one of many island markets on the big island of Hawaii. They stock many "green" and "organic" products that are very popular today with millennials and health conscious consumers. There is also a large hot food bar with standard 9 dollars per pound cooked food. There is also a large selection of ready made salads and bowls. There is a section for all locally made Hawaii goods if you are looking to support the local economy, and they carry suntan lotion that doesn't have the ingredients that is damaging to reefs. If you are looking for bargains I would skip this place, but if you are willing to drop some coin on quality I can't recommend this place enough.
My son was diagnosed with dairy Intolerance at infancy. Recently diagnosed with gluten intolerance. Knowing very little about gluten.Needing to as much as I could and fast meal I could make for my son. Island Naturals market and Deil is where I turn to for my information. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable and helped me understand the meaning of gluten-free.
Good selection of bulk foods, spices, and produce that's organic and/or locally grown. Isles are filled with a wide variety of healthy grocery options and 'natural' versions of all your favorite packaged foods. I love buying the Dr. Bronner's soap available in bulk because I can refill my containers, make my own custom scent blends, and the price is great!
